The smart thing to have done would have been to have Grant build a robot to shoot the cannonball. Then it would have worked. Having no idea of the circumstances involved, my first thoughts on the matter lead me to the impulsive wild guess that Tory's poor judgement is ultimately the source of the errant cannonball. In any case, the Alameda County Sheriff's Department holds the final liability legally speaking, I am sure.

I just checked and all of the cannon pics (Tory and Kari both posted at least two each too) are gone, this one is sure looking plausible until confirmed!

Insurance will probably cover a good chunk of this on the Mysthbusters side, as long as it's shown that they took all possible precautions not to have something like this happen (and they usually are very good about that entire safety thing), and the Mythbusters will pay for the rest out of their budget. And the firing range they were at might change a few rules as to what they allow to go on on their fields as well.

Kari, why is she really that hot?

She looks easy on the eyes, but not that she is any more attractive than the 'hot' girl in the office. Furthermore, she is intelligent, but is often mean. And she knows she is attractive and uses that to her advantage, but would deal very harshly with anything that dealt with the downside of that life strategy.
