If Jake farking Delhomme doesn't deserve a thread, Jeff Garcia sure as hell doesn't either.

Garcia was Philip Rivers before it was cool to be Philip Rivers...not that it's ever cool to be Philip Rivers.

Yes, I am completely content that the 1st year we have a legitimate shot to do something in the playoffs, we lose 2 QBs, a punter and a star Outside linebacker for the season, and 2 Full backs, the leagues #1 receiver WR (twice), one of the leagues best safties, a starting tackle and last year's rushing champion have missed/will continue to miss significant time and basically everyone else on the defensive front 7 is playing hurt in some way shape or form.

What two things does Jeff Garcia have that Terrel Owens doesn't?

1.) A smoking hot playboy bunny wife
2.) A job.

But other than that, it's going pretty well, right?

Seriously, it's just ridiculous how many key injuries Texas has had. Bright side being you guys do clinch the division with a win over Cincy this weekend (possible) and a Tennessee loss against New Orleans (probable). Then Carolina & Indy, followed by what may be a meaningless week 17 game against the Titans, at least gives those who can come back time to heal/rest.

Seeing as people were saying that the Texans could not win without Schaub? I'll take it.

/Well, that and Jacksonville actually has a top-5 defense. Shocking, I know.

Better than the Ravens & Steelers did against them, and the Saints only managed a 23-10 win vs. Jacksonville. The Jags might not win many, but they do play everybody close (week 2 & last night being the lone exceptions).

/Not a Houston fan nor a Jacksonville fan.

I actually preferred it when the texans were still waaaaaay off the radar. But then bob costas had to open his pie hole on snf. Now I'm just hoping we hang on for dear life knowing we have a 3rd string QB, no WR & a coach who couldn't beat Zombie Reagan in a drooling contest calling the shots.

Are you kidding? This is Kubiak's year. He's managed to build a team that works no matter who's placed in it. Hell, even Richard Solomon has been convinced.

That really is saying a lot considering how much better McNabb was as QB than Garcia for the past decade.

Remember McNabb didn't want to be a third string QB. That's why he asked for his release from the Vikings. Garcia will take third string as long as they pay him. That's likely part of the issue.

Its just that the number of injuries is farking ridiculous

Bulls on parade!

Reliant was rocking on Sunday.

Despite a 3rd string QB and a rash of injuries, they are still fighting for a 1st round bye...props to the Texans.

/And no, Mario Wiliams won't be back. Why pay 16 millions to a DE playing OLB that prohibits you from running all your defensive packages because all he can do is rush the QB, when you obviously need another CB and a WR next year.

/a Houstonian, a Longhorn grad, and hate having to deal with a daily sports talk discussion that always involves Vince Young at some point.

Do something in the playoffs?

You do realize that either Houston or Denver are going to have to play through the Steelers, Ravens and Pats in that order to make the superbowl yes?

Btw, my apologies for mixing up the ravens and steelers yesterday.

All of which they have an equal record with, have beaten the Steelers, played to the final minute with the Ravens, and honestly I don't see any reason for them to not at least hang with the Pats.

/besides even if they lose their first game, that is still doing something, as opposed to failing to make it at all
