You know why you haven't felt sexy in years? BECAUSE YOU AREN'T SEXY. Go be fat someplace else.

What the HELL is that pole made out of?

Fat firemen around the world want to know ;)

Very scary, but if you want to be really scared look in a place called fat city in Amsterdam. Walked past it several weeks but had to look and what has been seen can not be bleached from your brain ever.

You know what? Good for her. There are way too many women on the larger side of the scale (myself included) who wouldn't have the balls to get up there and be that confident in themselves, MUCH less have that kind of ability.

After seeing the pics, I have to agree with Subby about the pole installation.

I am sure something like these was required.

So let her be.

Absolutely. VERY well said.

What I have learned in my profession is that everyone has a body type.

There is ALWAYS a hotter girl on the floor.

There is ALWAYS someone hotter.

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

This woman had the nerve to go and do this.

I applaud her.

Pole dancing can be good exercise. If she sticks with it she won't stay 252 pounds forever. You should probably tap that now before she decides she's too hot for the average Farker.

You know, it takes a lot of strength to do some of that stuff, I'm impressed. And she looks extremely flexible. Good for her.

2011-12-06 08:42:47 PM
Honestly, good for her. Clearly she enjoys what she's doing, she has a bunch of fun doing it, and she donates the proceeds to PCOS sufferers (which is the reason for much of her weight, clearly). PCOS is awful; I've got a friend with it and no matter how much she works out or how well she eats, she'll never be thin without resorting to anorexia.

So, honestly, if she's not attractive to you just move on and be thankful that you don't have to struggle with what she does.

I dated a stripper. 5'3, 110 lbs. On her first night she was swinging around, lost her grip and flew across the stage into the bar, cracking her head. This chick didn't do that so she has that going for her. Which is nice.

I'm not saying she doesn't, and I would actually encourage her if she wanted to go do that. But I'm not going to go hit on her after her set.

Well, I might. She seems less likely to be drug and/or VD coated.

I don't see a g-string, so it'd be a fun game to slip a bill in between the random rolls of fat.

I have nothing nice or productive to say.

This sort of story makes me uncomfortable. She's doing her best.

I need a link about a troupe of small sized Chippendale dancers to balance it out. .

One of the things that's stuck with me most from the great book "The Year of Living Biblically" is the sheer difficulty of not saying something negative about random people you're never going to meet face to face or just pass by on the street. This thread is proof about that.

This doesn't prove that at all. It proves that people do not bother with that. It doesn't prove it's DIFFICULT.

That's like "quitting smoking is easy. I could do it any time." The point was that the urge to gossip and stare and make snide comments about people's schadenfreude is quite difficult to do if you actually try not to.

There doesn't seem to be any way to reduce the stripper stigma from pole dancing, but she seems to be doing her damnedest to make it all as unpalatable as possible.

I am sure it was a good time at the club

Waaaaay back a club near me Jilly's , had amateurs on stage at New Years

Some girls got up and some guys did too , The guys were not Chippendale material ... remember Chris Farley dancing Chippendale on SNL -- well it was like that ,, also a few that looked like Sheldon from the big bang. It was good times, I paid a regular working stripper to slip a 2 dollar bill in one guys g-string first time I have seen a stripper blush ....

For once I am at a loss for words. But, good for her, it does take courage not only to go up there at all, but to face what you know is going to be some harsh criticism. Not my cup of tea, but I am sure some guys like that type.

Hey, I'm glad she's happy and all, but in much the same way we create issues with women and their self-image by idealizing anorexic bag-of-antlers models as the ideal and make fun of them for gaining a few pounds, people like this should not minimize the fact that they are morbidly obese by referring to themselves as "curvy". She's only lying to herself, everybody else can say without reservation that she is outright fat. One day she'll end up in the hospital for a coronary bypass or heart attack, and neither her body nor the doctor will care if she thinks she's merely curvy.

I don't find that all that difficult.

Anyways, pole dancing is hard and I've seen attractive, larger burlesque dancers. I don't think being overweight is healthy, but attractiveness is in large part about confidence and personality and how you present yourself. So there are definitely fat sexy people.
