I'm amazed he could dig anything up on Newt, what with his squeaky clean reputation.

2011-12-06 07:25:37 PM
Not going negative at this point is going to hurt Romney even more with his base. The fringe left and fringe right eat up negative ads. His unwillingness to go after Gingrich even a little when he needs it most shows his weakness.

FTA: "The voters are looking for authentic conservatives who are able to show a decades-long career of consistently walking the walk of Constitutional principles, limited government and promoting sound economic policies."

No, these are Republican voters -- they're looking for someone who calls Obama a Muslim terrorist, adds earmarks to bills while slamming liberals for doing the same, and espouses "family values" while farking anything that moves.

I find it amusing that the local republican blog just came out with it's endorsement for Newt. The wacko's really love that guy's purity (unadulterated, to your face pandering lies).

as long as you trump the party line, you're a.o.k. with them. For a group so worried about their masculinity and tough guy bravado, you think that cuckolddry would be embarrassing. They're fine with being lied to, rather than be critically challenged in their beliefs.

The GOP is dead. They're no longer conservatives, but cultist reactionaries. Hopefully their self destruction will accelerate so we can get a real, new conservative party in America.

If Newt gets the nom, RON PAUL can defray some of his campaign debt by selling this directly to Fartbongo.

Oops, should say marriages, don't want anyone to think I have him mixed up with Romney.

Newt oozes slime already.

Just mentioning the man's name is going negative.

Well, he loves this country enough that he worked so hard he had to cheat on his wife. And the second one.

Hell, the pressure of running for president will probably force him to start an affair with his next ex-wife.

In other news, who will be the next GOP frontrunner? They've had about seven of them already now. I'm hoping for Zombie Reagan.

That was one of the most effective and honest ads I've seen in a political campaign.
It's accurate and not really even so much negative as it is the simple facts, stated simply.

I really think huntsman might get his day in the sun at this point. If Newt can anyone can.

I loved :

We need Cain because he has never been a politician we need an outsider who never held a political office to change up the system... Oh affairs and sexual harassment?

Hey We need Newt Gingrich someone who has some of the most experience in politics of anyone around!!!

Cognitive dissonance is not a Republican strong point.

Fish in a barrel.

But I'm starting to wonder if the Republicans candidates are spending their wad too soon. Their cash as well.

That would be completely A-OK by me. Enough with the joke candidates.

This add is true, Newt Gingrich is an insider politician and a lobbyist (but not honest enough to be one legally) who was for a Healthcare Mandate and helping Freddie Mac when paid to do so.

Newt Gingrich is about the most Washington political insider/lobbyist poster boy as you can possibly get!

They guy who thinks the plan to steal social security money to pay for Bush tax breaks for the rich is a "serious candidate"?

Newt Gingrich - brushed aside cancer and multiple sclerosis with his love for America

2011-12-06 08:01:46 PM
We don't need a conservative party. We have one. They're called the Democrats. I'd gladly cede the whole thing to the right if we could actually have a real liberal party.

Wow that was a very good ad.

2011-12-06 08:06:21 PM
Pretty hard hitting ad, but then I'm not its target audience. For all I know RON PAUL will lose support over this ad.

2011-12-06 08:11:25 PM
I love how people think a single negative ad will be the death of Newt as the front runner. This didn't point to any "scandals", it basically stated that Newt wasn't as conservative as Paul. So Paul is trying to pull Newt into a Food Fight, so no, this wont sink Newt, in fact, it'll probably help him when people see that instead of going negative against Paul, he will stick with a positive message and possibly add a few jabs. His interview today with Glenn Beck helped him with the Tea Party base, or at least those that listen to Beck and others are still giving him a second look. This is now week #2 of the all out assault on Newt and he's still leading the polls in several states.

Sorry, this isn't the torpedo you thought it was.

It's funny. If I was old enough in the 80's I would be considered firmly in Reagan's camp on most issues. Today I'm considered a progressive.

The GOP is seriously trying to bring up fights that were won between 50 and 150 years ago. A lot of things need to be fixed, but the GOP's positions have put us into a weird temporal rift where the Democrats are the conservatives trying to save the agreed upon institutions of government, corporate governance, and economics. The GOP wants to tear it all down and go back to the swell 1850-1900 period.

Meanwhile the rest of us suffer with our 21st century, reality based problems..

It's nuts!

Nobody needs a torpedo to take Newt down. He's going to do it himself.

And to think that Newt got here through some great strategy or performance is hilarious. You're simply scrapping the bottom of the barrel, and now it's Newt's turn.

2011-12-06 08:23:29 PM
...and so it begins...

Seriously, Newt, did you really think that it could last?

Yup. That's why McCain lost the Primary race in 2000...

Yeah, Newt is literally one of the biggest pieces of shiat living. LITERALLY. He doesn't need "attack ads"(was this even one, it was just facts) to destroy him, his being a living, breathing, piece of shiat, who puts his dick in other women while his wife is dying of cancer is all that *SHOULD* be needed for ACTUAL conservatives to disavow him.

But you are right, the GOP hasn't been conservative since Reagan destroyed America with the concept of national debt and reaganomics convinced middle america that debt=wealth.

Anyone who would vote for Newt is just as big and evil a piece of shiat.
