I'm surprised Tebow is so nationally liked given his beliefs. Has anyone tried asking him about things that would challenge his religion, such as gay marriage yet? I know he went through a shiat storm over the Super Bowl ad.

...which, in the end, was innocuous, but the humorless types tried to make out Tebow's mock-tackle of his mom as violence against women.

I thought Farkers didn't care what celebrities thought about world issues, and they should stick to entertaining us. Do yall really care what Tebow, or Sean Penn, or Kim Khardasian think about gay marriage or Afghanistan or anything else?

I don't care, and have said as much in previous threads. I was making a general statement and wanted to see if anyone knew the answer to the questions I was asking.

Huh? In what nation? You mean this nation, with its repressed Christian majority?

Tebow is successfully trolling Fark Christian haters and other haters throughout the world. There's very little to not like about him, but misery LOVES company so the miserable are desperately hoping he will fail.

Cosby knows this, and has attempted to encourage the miserable to not be so miserable, but they can't help it. Miserable people gonna be miserable, and haters gonna hate.

What the haters REALLY hate is that Tebow is now the most famous football player in the world, and he WILL use that podium to inspire a generation to NOT hate. Haters HATE that!

I don't see him losing too much sleep over it. Being in total bromance with Jesus has led Tebow to a successful starting job as an NFL QB and also to building hospitals and schools for destitute people in the developing world. A lot of us ask ourselves, irrespective of religion "could I have done more with my time?"

Not Tebow. We're the ones wasting time jabbering about him online.

No, what pissed us off is that the Super Bowl ad was for Focus on the Family, which is a repugnant, evil, hate-promoting organization run by a true lowlife and piece of dog excrement (James Dobson). I would want to cockpunch ANYONE who did a positive PSA for them, and I'm a hard-core Bronco fan who is really enjoying the Tebow era right now and hoping like hell he continues to improve.

Dude, I hate Christians, and I don't give a rip about Tebow. He's an entertaining football player to watch, and he doesn't whine when he gets hit or blame his receivers when he makes a mistake. I don't have a problem with him, and I don't give a rip if he wins the Superbowl. His religion will still be stupid and toxic, but it says nothing of him as a football player. Doesn't that just mess with your whole world view?

No dude, it doesn't. As a Bronco fan, I've dealt with Elway haters for decades. Tebow has uplifted his teammates, and they are playing as a TEAM. Glad you can separate Tebow the player from Tebow the Christian. Trust me, there's a lot of haters that can't do that, and that's what makes his continual success and improvement so sweet. Raider Nation must be losing their minds!

No, we don't. And we'd like them to keep private shiat (who they're farking, who they vote for, who they worship) to themselves.

If you put your private business out in public, it's fair game.

It may not be "hate" to force women to have a child as a result of rape or incest; it may not be "hate" to tell gays and lesbians "You can't get married, and you can't adopt a kid." But both are still evil, even if you say "B-b-b-but Jesus!"

Tim Tebow: 85.9
JaMarcus Russell: 65.2
Ryan Leaf: 50.0

GO TEBOW, GO!

As an atheist and Raider fan, I have no fond feelings for Tebow. But purely from a sports storyline perspective, I have to admit it's pretty funny that week after week people talk about what a crappy QB he is and then week after week the Broncos have been winning. I don't think it will last (and I hope it won't), but it's a compelling drama-comedy so far.

/But on the other hand, fark him for associating with the fascist scumbags at the Denver Broncos Focus on the Family.

Whatever. Women can have abortions and gays can get married. I don't give a crap. I DO care that those who say Tebow can't play quarterback are eating their words, that my Broncos are in the playoff hunt, and that Tebow is not a thug. I also like the fact that the more succesful Tebow is, the more you and your ilk have butthurt.

Why do people refer to non-musical events as "concerts"? A performance, an event, a show--fine. NOT a concert.
