Diebold sold off its voting machine business, much like Blackwater got a new name to avoid controversy.

She acknowledged the success of Islamist parties in Egyptian parliamentary voting that the U.S. has praised as fair. But many of the winners are not friendly to the United States or U.S. ally Israel

Don't they realize democracy is only valid inasmuch as it fills those requirements?

Ok, so what are you going to do about it? Nothing, that's what.

Link to the documentary "How Ohio Pulled It Off".

It shows how Bush stole the 2004 election.

In a convoluted way you could say it's good news when you understand that Bush wasn't elected in 2000 or 2004.

At they end they show how the exit poll differential was the same as it was in the Ukraine stolen election that the US forced them to redo.

I thought they kept the Diebold name, but spun off the voting machine business so that it wouldn't taint their ATM brand.

I like how people on the right pretend all the bad things Bush did where caused by Obama and Clinton. And they actually believe it too.

From MSNBC:

Meanwhile, Republican Senator John McCain offered Putin a warning on Twitter: "Dear Vlad, The Arab Spring is coming to a neighborhood near you."

This reads like something from The Onion. Is a sitting US Senator and former Presidential nominee really taunting Putin on Twitter? WTF AM I READING??

Stupid Russians. Don't they know elections are supposed to be bought instead of rigged? That's how freedom-loving free patriot home of the brave elections are done. Dirty commies.

I see. So subby believes that Obama stole the election, and that Hillary is not qualified to be SOS.

Obvious troll is obvious.

In former United Soviet Socialist Republic, one hundred and forty-six percent voting total comes to you!

Wow, he really did... Course I'm sure he attacked people that said the Arab Spring was coming to America too

Overzealous Republican staffer. John McCain doesn't know how what a Twitter is. Alternatively, he's just being all Mavericky™ and knows that he does not have to account for his actions because he's not long for this world.

I still think its great (hilarious) that the communist party still seems to get a fairly high number of votes

It's not him. Such a statement is far too, well, savvy for an old-timer like McCain.

I bet some junior staffer is probably getting fired over it.

Yes, but you are a whackadoodle retard. Reality has a liberal bias.

It's not that they were rigged, exactly, it's just that by now everyone is too scared to vote any way except how Putin "suggests" that they should.

Gyrfalcon: It's not that they were rigged, exactly, it's just that

the Central Election Commission replaced the actual results with something else. Medvedev congratulated the chairman of the commission for the good job and called him "a real wizard" on TV only yesterday.

Unsurprisingly, this same chairman also made the closest prediction about the final election outcome a few days ago. It was just as if he had seen the future or something.

Premier Election Solutions, formerly Diebold Election Systems, Inc. (DESI) was a subsidiary of Diebold that makes and sells voting machines. In 2009 it was sold to competitor ES&S
.
Diebold Election Systems Inc was started by Bob Urosevich
.
Todd Urosevich, one of two brothers(guess who the other is?) that founded Election Systems & Software, Inc. (ES&S) company formerly and still the largest vote counting company in the USA

In August 2003, Walden O'Dell, chief executive of Diebold, announced that he had been a top fund-raiser for President George W. Bush and had sent a get-out-the-funds letter to Ohio Republicans. In the letters he says he is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year."

Avi Rubin, Professor of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University and Technical Director of the Information Security Institute has analyzed the source code used in these voting machines and reports "this voting system is far below even the most minimal security standards applicable in other contexts."

/Don't worry comrades, if we don't fix it this time, you know we can fix it next time
