I'm going to have to give it to Brad Pitt in Burn After Reading. I wouldn't have seen it coming in a million years.

some gemini: LiQuid!: Take your pick from the Sean Bean death reel. (new window)

This is brilliant. Has he been in a movie where he doesn't die?

Certainly not many. He only got arrested in National Treasure but if it was any movie that wasn't billed as a Disney family movie and he'd be dead.

Runner up is Michael Biehn. Technically he survived Aliens but unless you ignore Alien3 like I do, he was already doomed and died offscreen during the opening credits so he basically died in Aliens.

Since they've defined what "serious" is, how can they leave out Paul Reubens death scene in Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

croesius: yogaFLAME: No cat from Boondock Saints?

Couldn't list it, no one could remember its name.

Speaking of which: would have killed them to bother mentioning the actor who played Marvin in Pulp Fiction? I mean, it's not like he hasn't done any other stuff. Hermes Conrad, anyone?

enry: vygramul: I didn't see Burn After Reading, but wasn't it constantly advertized as a comedy? Was it actually a serious movie?

Dark comedy I think. Not worth watching, really.

Disagree. It had some great performances.

Agree! An excellent dark comedy. Apparently not enough fart jokes for some people, though.

People tend to forget that the 'shoot the swordman' bit was originally done in the Andy Sidaris 1979 classic 'Seven'.

In Ronin, he exited the movie early, but his character lived. I was honestly shocked.

It's a sign you've done too many death scenes when the mere act of being cast is a spoiler. I'm looking at you, Ned Stark.

Actually, not enough funny jokes, period. But you're right. Dildo jokes are much classier than fart jokes.

/ One of the Cohen's worst, by far.

I restrained a giggle during 'X-Men: First Class' when the NIghtcrawler-guy was teleporting around the CIA base and dropping agents to their deaths. The song 'It's Raining Men' was going through my head.

I actually met the dude that got melted in Robocop when I was a street vendor in Vancouver. He was pretty cool and laid back.

OMG... I died when I saw that scene. Had to back up the movie and re-watch that scene a few times. Hubby and I couldn't stop laughing. Had to put the movie on pause for about 15-20 minutes.
