Fun fact: There are starlings in North America because some deranged millionaire in the 19th Century released 60 of them in Central Park. He thought Americans couldn't fully appreciate Shakespeare's Henry IV unless they could actively interact with starlings.

FTFA: The birds, mainly starlings, have cost the county $1,200 for new lights.

I love how all of you jump on the bandwagon of starling hate. Sounds like there were plenty of other types of birds involved but you all have to single out the starlings. You jump right into the insults and name calling because you're so afraid of a successful starling.

No wonder our country is such a mess.

I wonder if anyone has done boardslides down that railing. I haven't been an avid skater in years, but the first thing in my head was "Holy hell, is that a crazy handrail!"
