Seriously. Check out FreeRepublic whenever Rubio's name comes up. The slurs "Anchor Baby", "Illegal immigrant", "Fifth columnist" etc etc. are all tossed around quite liberally (so to speak).

Hates commies and Obama is a nice introduction, but brown skinned and foreign-born? They don't like him.

Wow, his parents are psychic! They fled Cuba three years before Castro even reached Havana! Amazing!

Of course, that also means they were hardcore Batista supporters, so either way, this guy's credentials are not good. They backed one of the most corrupt slimeballs in the Caribbean, and bailed on him before the revolution hit; but they can't claim to be exiles because they didn't escape via boat--they probably took a plane.

Last time I posted something like that (along with a quote from JFK stating what a bastard Batista was and how the USA's association with him was an embarrassment) I was told that I was "white knighting" for Castro.
