That was adorable how Giants fans thought they were in the game for a few seconds there yesterday.

And then came the clinic.

Looking at the rest of the schedule, I think there is now a very good chance the Pack will go 16-0. Good on ya, Rog

Yeah, I was cheering for the Giants just because I like a good underdog, but I knew there was a good chance they were going to lose when there was almost a minute left on the clock for Rodgers. They should have run the ball for one of those goal line attempts.

I can't believe there are this many people who actually like that commercial.

I always assumed that was a local commercial. Is it playing outside of Beer/Cheese-Land?

The Packers schizo defense will cost them a game, whether it is regular or post season is TBD.

//Packer fan.

Oh by the way, Aaron Rodgers is an awful actor.

That's one thing Peyton has over all of them.

Brees isn't much better. Do they let him talk in his commercials?

Milo Minderbinder: I always assumed that was a local commercial. Is it playing outside of Beer/Cheese-Land?

It's on every 5 minutes during every sporting event in the US. Right after some version of the "buy your significant other a Lexus for Christmas" drivel.

Yeah, I've seen it a couple dozen time here in Tennessee.

What's the local/national story on the Ford F-150 commercials that have A-Rod driving through Green Bay in an F-150 and everyone he passes doing the belt?

/damn shame he's selling out that move
//owns a title belt T-shirt (pops) and has since before the commercials
///Rodgers (with a D!) for MVP and president

My favorite part of that ad is the end. It amuses me that the guy screaming in the window is what the stereotype of a Packers fan is. As much as I dislike the Superfans, I'll take that any day.

The Giants secondary may not be real good, but playing the Saints and Packers in back-to-back weeks is going to be tough for anyone.

They still do the sell us your gold commercials in the poorer towns around the country.

That discount double check commercial is national. Have it in the caribbean even.

So are the Packers gonna sit Rodgers now that they've clinched the north or are they going to keep him in to try for 16-0?

The Packers O line is playing really well. I don't see any danger in keeping him in. If he sits that long, he and the receivers will be out of synch come playoffs.

I doubt many Packers fans think otherwise. Sure, with the remaining schedule 16-0 is achievable, but does anyone think the Packers defense is capable of it? How many games have ended this season with Packers fans breathing a sigh of relief?

They're still playing for home field advantage. It's not about the undefeated season - yet.

Am I the only one who first saw that "dance" and thought: "No penalty for essentially waving his package in celebration?"

It really looks like he's saying "My nuts: Witness them. Slobber them."

// "A belt? WTF kind of stupid celebration is that?"
// got him at the end of Round 1 in my draft - he can wave his nuts at me all he likes
// might be weird in person, though

joness0154: So are the Packers gonna sit Rodgers now that they've clinched the north or are they going to keep him in to try for 16-0?

They've clinched the division but they haven't clinched home field throughout. Niners are still 10-2.

2011-12-05 12:06:54 PM
Even though the Giants lost, I'm mostly happy with that game turned out. They hung with the best, and that's really all you can ask for. Some people I know are pissed about giving up the last drive, but it's the Packers. That's what they do.

Yanks_RSJ: They were in the game for 60 minutes.

It took 14 seconds for Green Bay to get to field-goal range from their own 20.

14.

Seconds.

The Giants would have been better off trying to recover an onside kick, because they sure as shiat weren't going to stop Rodgers from putting up the go-ahead points even if he had to start the drive from Ho-Ho-Kus.

If the Giants make the playoffs this year, it will be because Dallas, Detroit or Chicago out-stupids them.
