Ironically, the DWI checkpoint was in the process of wrapping up at the time of the crash.

This is why you should always have just one more drink before getting behind the wheel.

Ironically? Where are the ironic police?

At least we can all agree that's not ironic.

That news story is about as good as when Washington state's double fine for ticketed traffic violations in construction zones went into effect. It was mainly targeted at speeders. On the day the law went into effect, a woman got pulled over for speeding and a DUI. Not only that, a news crew was on scene explaining the law to viewers when it happened. The reporter interviewed the woman who was more angry she was got caught than what the amount was she would be fined. At least in both cases a drunk driver is off the road for awhile.

That would have been impressive even if that was bone stock, since they went with displacement, not farktons of turbos and a lawnmower engine.

At least it has an actual V6 - instead of an I-4 with a turbo that wishes it was the V6 that the Mustang has.

Now if the V6 model was priced down where only 4-bangers were, I might be impressed. Then again, it'd plow right through their Eurotrash lineup they decided to put in those lower segments.

Now, people who know cars can tell the difference, but your average person might not be able to tell.

Then maybe you should start buying cars that appeal to you, rather than how you think other people perceive them.

Well then who cares? The person that doesn't know would probably just appreciate the body styling anyway.

What's even more fun is when you've modded out your V6 and someone who does know to look for the badging pulls up next to you at a light thinking they're going to burn ahead of you and cut you off at the next intersection.

While the modern Mustangs finally look like muscle cars again, you have to admit Mustangs looked like shiat during the 80s and 90s. Conversely, Camaros and Firebirds have always looked good (to varying degrees).

Fortunately no milk delivery people were injured in the accident. It would be tragic if this led to Dead Milkmen.

I agree about the foxbodies. I still do not understand why so many enthusiasts like those cars.

But I think now his point was that the V6/V8 use the same body style, which can be said for pretty much any line of sports cars.

This is a standard diversionary tactic. We are going to see a made for TV movie about this on SPIKE about how one redneck saved an enitre bar....

Which is a strange comment to make considering the 300+ horsepower modern V6 pony cars put out.

Naturally aspirated too.

Let's see, do I want some 2 liter turbo crack hamster, or a 300hp n/a car that I can supercharge to 400+ if I feel the need? Tough decision...

To each their own, I suppose. :-) Personally I like the looks of all three (Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger).

I'd like to interject and pull my suspenders while I explain how imports rock all muscle cars. Also, Triple H is The GAME.
