Go* Sheriff Joe!

*....to hell!

2011-12-04 10:02:55 PM
I wouldn't be at all surprised to find either of those - or both - in his list of accomplishments.

2011-12-04 10:04:22 PM
I knew this would go green eventually.
FBI needs to step in.

Yay! Sheriff Joe time!
i870.photobucket.com
He's too busy for this raped brown children crap. He only has so much time to force pink underwear on sweaty men.

Based on his public history, I sorta dread to think about what that guy must fap to privately.

2011-12-04 10:13:20 PM

Many of the victims, said a retired El Mirage police official who reviewed the files, were children of illegal immigrants.

everyone knows slaves can't file rape charges, right?

2011-12-04 10:24:22 PM
I don't get what it will take to get this guy seriously investigated. Does he need to Sandusky someone in broad daylight? (A white someone clearly.)

2011-12-04 10:32:45 PM
Well, it's easy to understand. Dressing your prisoners in pink and putting them in tents is easy. Investigating sex crimes is hard work.

/And not as newsworthy.

2011-12-04 10:35:02 PM
So he's planning on running for pope when he retires from law enforcement?

2011-12-04 10:39:39 PM
It wont matter. The voting base that keeps Joe Arp in his job are all right wing, rich supporters in Scottsdale and Sun City. The same ones that keep Jan Brewer in office.
They push for laws that target Hispanic [American] and Native American.... oh who am I kidding, anyone who doesn't look like a true 'American'.

And of course, their personal army is any law enforcement officer. Because, well, "They're just doing their jobs™".

"Fill up our jails with them coloreds! Obamer can pay us to jail his crinimals, we need more money dat burn it!"

coco ebert: I don't get what it will take to get this guy seriously investigated. Does he need to Sandusky someone in broad daylight? (A white someone clearly.)

basically, yes. as long as Sheriff Joe confines his indifference and hatred to the poor and/or brown people then he can basically do almost anything he wants.

2011-12-04 10:47:32 PM
they keep using the word "botched," as if someone just goofed up. can you really call it botching an investigation if you are willfully refusing to engage in an investigation?

To be fair, the Department of Justice has stepped in in the past on issues of civil rights violations in other places. I remember reading about them investigating him but nothing seems to really stick to this guy.

he's hard to bring down. he's got a LOT of corrupt buddies working for him, plus he tends to make evidence disappear. think 'boss hog' only a lot dumber and more vicious. Plus he's made friends high enough up the ladder to slow down a lot of the federal investigations.

I'm not sure how much longer he's going to last though. Sheriff Joe has started to attract a LOT of attention from around the country. that's not a good plan. I don't care how good you are at being a small town corrupt cop. you make yourself enough enemies and eventually they'll gang up on you. Joe seems to be getting better at making enemies and less good at finding allies.

2011-12-04 11:03:04 PM
Well, yeah, he is a Republican.

Seriously, is anyone actually surprised by this? He's forced women to give birth chained up because they were Hispanic. Letting Hispanic children be raped is completely predictable and not at all unexpected.

Sherrif Joe is highly popular with the old people who moved to the southwest. The carpetbaggers have been ruining Phoenix for years: Guys like my uncle who said, "You'll like the black people in phoenix, cause they will hate the Mexicans too."

the Southwest used to be pretty much live and let live. You used to be able to carry your gun everywhere. Booze, sex, gambling were considered harmless vices if no one was forced into it. Drugs were really no big deal. The worse things were the crimes against Indians and Illegal Immigrants.

But since the snowbirds came, they try to make it green like the east. They try to make the culture fast past and sterile. And snowbirds approve of Joe's handling of lawless-cuz it's all boot-strappy and western mythy....

my rule of thumb is to never make yourself more valuable as a scapegoat than as a member of the team. Joe is rapidly approaching 'scapegoat' territory and if he keeps pushing it, he'll get thrown to the fed so fast he won't know what hit him.

don't taunt the fed cops. they'll eventually find your weakness and that'll be it.

...and related to officers, perhaps? Or was it "were known to be white, and the victims were known to not be"?

Scary thing is, he's not really a small town cop. He's the sheriff of the 4th most populous county in the country.

I lived in Phoenix in the 80's and the crap was already bad then. The poor indians. I would see them at the drug store next to the res, drunk. People didn't really carry guns. They said you could, but it was a big deal if you did. I saw some guy come in to Smitty's with a gun in a holster. No-one really cared for it, they were all a little frightened of the guy. I bet he got off about it, though.
I hated living in Arizona, except for riding my motorcycle through the desert on cool nights. That was magnificent.

"In El Mirage alone, where Arpaio's office was providing contract police services, officials discovered at least 32 reported child molestations - with victims as young as 2 years old"

How the hell do you rape a two year old?

By severely injuring them, as I've understood from newspaper reports.

Sheriff Joe's corrupt buddies have been pretty quiet since November 8th since Russell Pearce was taken down. Sheriff Joe is digging his own hole right now. I also have a feeling if demographics have changed some in Mari-crazy County some of Sheriff Joe's friends might be voted out of office. I am hoping the ones who took down Pearce can take down Brewer too.

Journalists need to stop saying sexual assault. Actually, everyone does. It's called rape. Rapey rape rape, and it's a bad, terrible, horrible thing to do to someone. Sexual assault sounds like it's describing a punch to the crotch, or assaulting someone in a sexy way, like erotic kung fu.

The real crime is that all the rage and venting and cursing and knashing of teeth and tearing of hair just rolls of this douche-tard's back like the smug, racist, Nazi duck that he is.

Sheriff Joe will either drop dead of a heart attack, spend a couple years in jail held in extreme protective custody, or (most likely) retire and live out his life pocketing huge "consulting" fees.

And he knows it.

wait until the backlog of cases has been dealt with.
then let him see a lawyer.

In El Mirage alone, where Arpaio's office was providing contract police services, officials discovered at least 32 reported child molestations - with victims as young as 2 years old - where the sheriff's office failed to follow through, even though suspects were known in all but six cases.

But hey, as long as those inmates are wearing pink, eating crap for food, and sweltering in tent cities under the desert sun to provide Arpaio's constituents with their "tough on crime" porn, it's all good, right?

this this and more this.

they didnt botch the investigations.
they didnt do the investigations.

why have the cities who have contracted with him sued already?
not just to recover fees, but punitive damages??

/sigh

That's because rape and child molestation are Republican past times, and illegal immigrants are brown.
