AverageAmericanGuy: Hire Americans.

I'd rather stick with Ric's advice on this one and hire professionals.

He seems like an okay guy. He takes the Fark ribbing with good humor and doesn't afraid of anything.

Good: Lumberjacks.

Bad: Beavis & Butthead.

Who knew it was a documentary?

Hey, G Dubya is available for clearing brush. I heard he's pretty good at it. Even willing to spend vacation days doing it.

I usually don't read the Romero articles but Ric is pretty clueless on this one. He even makes some incorrect/misleading comments, talking about hiring a tree company and power line clearance in the same breath. The tree guys you find in thew phone book and call to come cut your trees are NOT the same guys who clear the power lines. The line work is done by huge national companies who contract with the power companies. The vast majority of private tree services won't even have anyone on the crew trained and certified to work in proximity to live power lines.

Ric needs to STFU about topics of which he is more clueless than his viewers. His well intentioned but clueless advice can do more harm than good.

If you live in Louisville, I know a guy that's an expert at it, he's american too if that matters to you, a good GURPS player as well, although I don't know that you want to tabletop with your tree cutter.

In other news,

Hiring the Mexicans outside Home Depot may result in theft and/or workers comp lawsuits!

Film at 11!
