Wow, she looks good for 85. I'd say no more than 70.

Or else the pic in that article is 15 years old...

2011-12-04 04:47:00 PM
There hasn't been any terrorists attacks have there?

Subby should have to do a cavity search.

2011-12-04 04:49:47 PM
Isn't this the third government agency that should be disbanded? Completely farking useless.

2011-12-04 04:50:35 PM
Two conflicting stories. Who has more motivation to lie...

2011-12-04 04:50:47 PM
I applaud the TSA for keeping us safe from these dangerous potential terrorists. If she had nothing to hide, she had nothing to fear.

2011-12-04 04:50:56 PM
Dammit subby.

2011-12-04 04:51:09 PM
People biatch about racial profiling and then biatch because we're not racially profiling. She received the standard search that anybody who opts out of the scanners receives, stop farking biatching about it or take a train.

I feel ever so much safer. Except I wasn't feeling particularly nervous in the first place.

2011-12-04 04:56:04 PM
the most important question is did they find any C4 under her grandma boobs.

2011-12-04 04:57:13 PM
anyone over 75 should travel only by cruise ship or be driven by relatives.

Or, you know, you can realize that what the TSA is doing isn't stopping any potential terrorists and maybe...I don't know....stop traveling all together, and start a lengthy letter writing campaing to your congressman and senator demading that the current idiot system be overhauled.

2011-12-04 04:59:08 PM
That's not C4 she's hiding in her Depends.

2011-12-04 05:03:26 PM
Okay, fine, I'll be gullible. *click* *headline loads*

I'm particularly annoyed at the phrase "do I look like a terrorist?". Yes, your wheelchair can conceal many items, if not be reassembled into something. Yes, when I am older I will smuggle as much then as I do now. And yes, a terrorist can look like anyone and that's why profiling doesn't work.

Allen. The end.: Isn't this the third government agency that should be disbanded? Completely farking useless.

Well, they are moving out into the streets and highways of America so things should start happening soon!

Sorry, but I'm going to have to give that credit to the anti-terrorist rock I've been keeping in my pocket.

The private screening was not recorded.

People on the Left biatch about racial profiling People on the right biatch because we're not racial profiling & to leave grandma & children alone.

A friend just asked me yesterday why I drove 10 hours (one-way) to NYC rather than fly. Here's the latest reason why (and at JFK - one of the worst for theft by TSA).

John Pistole, current head of TSA, when asked by a reporter about the future possibility of body-cavity searches said,

"That's not where we are..."

yet.

No terrorists were flying planes into skyscrapers during the Carter administration.

2011-12-04 05:19:18 PM
We might as well get used to it, it's not like we have the power to change it.

CRAP.

This is why I read the comments first...
/85? Really? What good is 72 virgins to that?
//Maybe the TSA was designed to make us look so idiotic, they don't want to touch us...

If you're trolling you're doing an excellent job. Now I think a lot of TSA tactics are pure bullshiat but Pistole essentially said in that interview that they weren't interested in doing any kind of cavity search because it isn't necessary. You're right in ending the quote after "are..." because he never says yet. Inference skills be damned.

This thread requires images of what a hot brunette may look like. For educational purposes.

2011-12-04 05:33:40 PM
Of course she hot, she probably got the thermostat set to meet her age like every other elderly person.

ThisNameSux: She received the standard search that anybody who opts out of the scanners receives, stop farking biatching about it or take a train.

Being strip-searched, especially by having one's pants and panties forcibly yanked down while being lacerated, is not standard procedure nor to be tolerated on anyone, not just women or frail old people.

As threads on FlyerTalk point out, this is far from the first report of a strip-search by the TSA. Just like the priest and Penn State scandals show can happen, how many other people meekly took it in the "resistance" and didn't speak up for fear or embarassment?

As for "take the train," the TSA wants to expand VIPR operation teams even more this year. The TSA has shown up at:
* Train Stations
* Bus stations
* Subway stations
* Cruise/Boat docks
* On freeway checkpoints with far-more-powerful x-ray machines (Z Backscatter Vans)
* Funiculars (yes, farking incline railways!)
* Sporting events, like the Super Bowl (and the NFL instituted TSA-style patdowns this year)
* Concerts
* Homecoming dances (almost)

Not to say that Amtrak hasn't really been giving TSA & CBP a nice hit in the "resistance" this year though:
* The Amtrak chief of Police banning them after the Savannah, Georgia incident (when they patted down everyone after they got off the train while leaving their luggage unguarded).
* Amtrak mangers starting up a train with CBP agents still on it while they were conducting an illegal "border search" on a train not crossing the border.
* Amtrak managers using Amtrak security guards to escort out TSA clerks who tried to set up a checkpoint at Chicago's Union Station during the Thanksgiving holiday rush.

But Amtrak is still the same agency that arrested a man for taking photos of trains for the chance to win a free trip in an Amtrak contest. Sure, Amtrak is enjoying taking all the business the airlines are losing, but it could just be turf warfare for them too.

Pistole could have made it absolutely clear by saying something along the lines of "No, we'd never consider putting the American people through something so horrible. No, absolutely not." But no, he said what he said in his twisted spin-speech, leaving open the possibility.

And sorry, but consider his track record of lies, take it in that light. He's been saying how we'd be keeping on our shoes, keeping laptops in bags, and have no liquid restrictions years ago.

What we have now, is:
* if you're a frequency flyer with lots of miles
* you pony up $200/year and hand over a lot more of your information to your government
* you use a participating airport that actually knows what Clear (or whatever they're calling it know) is
* You might, be able to keep your laptop in the bag, maybe keep your shoes on, probably not both, and the thermos or bottle of Dasani has to go

Pistole, Blogger Bob, and Big Sis Napalitano or the trolls.
