In my family, most of the male cousins would've been cheering them on.

/most of them are rednecks

I'm not sure why the Daily Mail thought I needed to know that she is an avid motorcycle racer.

Good work, kid.

I know it's childish, but talking about sex crimes then referencing the penal code always makes me smirk.

What does the vaginal code have to say about this?

That poor 15 year old child.

His sex life will be forever ruined by this horrific experience.

More importantly, she once owned a pink and white Honda.

Btw, how is fining her 10K going to fix this? Oh, nevermind.

That boy isn't a victim.

As a heterosexual male, who was once 15 years old, I'm having a hard time seeing this kid as a victim. I know I should be outraged, but I'm not.

she was going down the road, doing 90
when the chain on her motorcycle broke
they found her on the grass, handlebars were up her ass
and her tits were playing Dixie on the spokes

Considering the family now has the law and the entire world via the interwebs in their business, it's even more f*cked up. I do not understand why people call the police to intervene in family matters.

I heard that while he claims to be innocent, his lawyer is contemplating a plea deal. Sorry, but if someone is really innocent, there is NO WAY they would agree to a plea deal.

About 15 years ago, story broke that some guy was molesting kids. A friend of mind knew him and talked to him on the phone. Guy said he was innocent, but he "didn't want the kids to have to go on the stand," so he was going to plead guilty. Yea, right.

Thank you for the motorcycle background but could you explain why she was at a Thanksgiving dinner with this family and who the boy was in relation to her? Who caught them and where? Stuffing cooked in the bird or next to it?

They will have a difficult time finding any jury that isn't familiar with the case if it goes to trial.

cameroncrazy1984: I'm not sure why the Daily Mail thought I needed to know that she is an avid motorcycle racer.

Good point,

As a Texan who has lived for many years in Ireland here in the UK, I still don't entirely 'get' why newspapers over here frequently mention the size and price of a person's home, when such detailed knowledge of the layout of their house and the current market value or the price paid for said property in no way helps one to make sense of the story.

My best guess is that it's a class thing, as when a (hypothetical) person living in a 6 bedroom, detached house worth £600,000 in Wiltshire has been arrested for dangerous driving.

Whereas you'll NEVER read that a (hypothetical) person living in a 1 room bedsit worth £27,000 in a terrace in Jarrow has been arrested for dangerous driving.

"You'd expect better behavior from a person in such a nice house" seems to be the inference.

So I'd wager a guess that pointing out that the woman is an avid motorcycle racer in this story is there both as vacuous filler but also because of the perception that she occupies a lower margin of society and thus fulfills a stereotype (woman on a motorcycle = common as muck), whereas if she was an avid Dressage enthusiast, that information would be included to shock us with the impropriety of one of our social betters being so careless with her dalliances.
