If this was a utopian society those abortions wouldn't go to waste by being casually thrown away in a biohazard bag. They should be used to make a nice stew or a classy handbag. We have a way to go to address the injustices of our culture.

IMO, the first Happy Feet film did get a little bit hamfisted with its environmentalist message in the final act but was still overall a pretty enjoyable movie.

I personally found the right's butthurt over Wall-E to be much funnier. That was a film that was at its heart just a love story between two robots and merely used a loose plot about pollution as the backdrop to drive the events in that story. But of course, the conservatives just had to preemptively overreact and complain about how Pixar was supposedly indoctrinating children with a "far-left pro-green message", completely missing the point of the movie. The best part is that the fact that they biatched about it so much that the issue ended up actually getting more exposure and more people started debating and discussing the "environmental themes" of Wall-E. How's that for a Streisand effect.

Hey, idiot. Just because not everyone agrees with your worldview, doesn't mean they're saying things to get a rise out of people. It also doesn't make one person more right on the issue. I believe conception is a life created. You may believe it occurs after a few months, maybe when the kid actually pops out. However, if you agree that at least a month after conception, that a fetus is a living being, then aborting that is murder. No other way to define it.
