I suppose I could go to South Africa since they actually have legal same-sex marriage while the US does not, but there's no way I'm giving my tourist dollars to countries that do things like this legislation.

1. I think the US should always stand up for human rights both in the US and around the world. No, I don't believe that necessarily means invading other nations for every human rights violation.

Yep, no way, unless they're countries that lock up gays under section 377A of their penal code and happen to be named "Singapore," according to your own travel map. Meanwhile, South Africa is one of fewer than 10 countries on the planet where gays have full equality under the law.
