I didn't get any of that. My prof was Czech and hated the Russians and kept telling us they would crater eventually and made us learn 2 words of Czech for every word of Russian. I think I've used it exactly zero times.

The non-profit I once worked for sent me to Tver, in January, via Moscow. I didn't need much language as everyone was about two drinks away from Coma-stok all the time.

Fond memories of that show, as a kid in the early 70's. Who doesn't know the "1 2 3 4 5, 6 7 8 9 10, 11-12" pinball song? Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, and The Electric Company were the only TV shows I ever saw, at the house I stayed at after school.

Weird thing was not that long ago some thread here on Fark led me to Muppet Wiki (link pops, warning, you can get lost and waste lots of time in there) and I saw some of the newest skits from modern Sesame Street.

And deep in there, there's a muppet illustrating the idea of a "phone" and... it's a cellphone. Well yeah, I guess, of course it would be.

But somehow that just floored me, because for me, Sesame Street is always stuck in the 70's, in my mind.
