Woman on cocktail of prescription drugs plows through yard

I wouldn't mind plowing through her yard.

The chemical test determined that Rossi had 45 ng/mL of Nordiazepam, 26 ng/mL of Oxazepam, 9.3 ng/mL of Clonazepam, 62 ng /mL of Alprazplam, 10 ng/mL of Oxycodone and 17 ng/mL of 7-Amino Clonazepam.

I know you're not supposed to put your dick in crazy, but if you're on that much medication you've gotta be well balanced, right?

Why do questionable-looking women in news stories get "you'd hit it" headlines, whereas Hollywood starlets often have knees that are too sharp?

It's the Elvis medication method. Everything balances out everything else.

You don't think Katy Perry should be held to a higher standard when she has personal trainers, cooks, and stylists flitting about her gaily all day while this chick looks this good in a mug shot after an accident whilst tripping balls?

Holy sh*t that's a lot of drugs, but chances are she won't remember any of it.
Good thing she wasn't smoking pot!
Benzos, is there any havoc they can't wreak?

We don't do that IRL, though: You don't walk down the street and say, "Hey, I bet if that homeless crack whore had a little bit better luck in life, she'd be fairly hittable". Nor do you walk into your house after a long day's work and think (or at least say out loud) in regards to your wife/SO, "Jesus Christ, you'd think with all the leisure time she has, she could look a little better than *this*!"

And, yes, these examples are a bit extreme, but that's just for emphasis.

We do give the more middle of the road types the benefit of the doubt though. At least I do.

Anyone who says she is "questionable looking" is most likely gay.

she should add some anti-zit meds to her cocktail.

She isn't ugly, but she's not particularly attractive either. She is recognizably female, so she has that going for her.

Any pharmacists out there? That sounds more like she's got 2 prescriptions with multiple active ingredients. Hardly what I'd call a 'cocktail' of drugs. Looks like a lowish dose painkiller and...anti-anxiety med?

To say it makes 'em nucking futz is the understatement of the century.

Most likely she's "doctor shopping". She's probably got different prescriptions from different doctors to make up her "cocktail".

Because surgical enhancements, $1000 makeup, and vapid self interest isn't attractive, whereas real people with real lives are?

Also there is the whole, 'I might have a chance to hit that or something similar to it' mentality as opposed to 'I will never be able to hit that, ever'

Attainable is sexier than unattainable.

Not saying it doesn't, but two or three prescriptions is hardly some massive amount of pills. I'm just wondering where this recent hysteria about pill poppers is coming from. I would think the kind of old people who are likely to fall prey to it would be the first to shrug it off, I've yet to meet someone over the age of 60 without at least 4-5 daily prescriptions. I'm honestly wondering if it's just some of of backlash boot-strappy 'I know what you're going through better than you do and you don't really need all those pills' thing, or some sort of 'if they just stopped taking all those useless medications poor people wouldn't need health insurance' thing.

Oh, it's been around for as long as I can remember. I think it resurfaces with a little more intensity every now and then. See the Stones' "Mother's Little Helper" for example.

I would think the kind of old people who are likely to fall prey to it would be the first to shrug it off, I've yet to meet someone over the age of 60 without at least 4-5 daily prescriptions.

Well, that's certainly true. Both my parents had tons of pills to take daily in their final years. It got so bad I paid out of my own pocket for them to see a pharmacologist twice a year in order to have the effects and counter-effects judged. He routinely cut their meds in half. Every single farking time.

I had noticed that every time they went to see a doctor, he/she wrote them another script. Almost without fail. And usually without asking them what they were already taking. I got so I would make a list of their meds (names, dosages, etc) and print it out, and make them keep it in their wallet. Whenever they would go to the doctor, I'd make the doctor look at the list. Usually they just glanced at it, then wrote the script.

One of the main reasons I seriously distrust most doctors these days.

I saw "Alprazplam" in the list. Going on on a limb to say that's a typo for "alprazolam", which = xanax. So, she's on both, which I guess makes her a pro again.

Saw this same thing with my late MIL We teased her about being the drug-interaction poster girl. I think that several doctors in OKC had to retire after she died.

I'm more concerned about the comments combining "over 60" and "in their final years". Is there something I need to know?? Should I stop buying green bananas?

Heh - they were both well into their 80s when they croaked. Would have lasted longer without that "Greatest Generation" habit of two packs a day.

Thanks for clearing that up. About the same thing with my dad. As he said, "If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself." Not sure if that's really true though....
