I never really 'got' the 'jokes' about airline 'food'. I spent much of my youth travelling to and from the Middle East, flying Gulf Air and British Airways. Occasionally, I use budget carriers -- RyanAir or EasyJet -- and the food, while not way up there on the "nice" scale, has never been "bad".

And then about 3 weeks ago, I flew with US Airways.

Oh Jesus Mother of God.

The horror. Some ... something terrible had happened.
