Would you stop it. I'm from Texas, born and raised. Your example is way off base by a long shot.

It's "Silverado", not "F-150".

Texas should change its name from "The Lonestar State" to "The Police State"

Sadly, this.

I'm an aggie graduate, been to football games on kyle field, but never understood the raving fanaticism of some of my peers back then...

The F-150 is what the girls drive.
The cousin nailers wouldn't be caught in anything less than an F-250, and the F-250 is usually just a starter truck.

I know Texans who will talk for nine hours about taking the Prius to their urban rideshare program... in Austin.

Why hasn't Texas followed through on it's threat of leaving us yet?

Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool and all shootin' some B-ball outside of the school?

The Irresponsible Captain: Why hasn't Texas followed through on it's threat of leaving us yet?

She always says that, but she's not going back to Mexico and you know she hates being alone.

This. That's more like the typical Texan conversation as imagined by somebody who learned everything they know about the state from Seth MacFarlane."

Free speech ^^That the Police Don't Like^^ has a three hour time limit in Texas. FTFY, subby.

I'm sure members of the police officers' union can parade around as long as they like.

From what I saw in Oakland and NYC I'm not sure we can pick on Texas much anymore: Lord knows Mike Bloomberg would love to have an innocent person executed just like Rick Perry.

My sign said "All children should have access to healthcare, food, and a decent education."

You and your babby daddy go get a job and you will have that covered

/ how is babby made?
// how is healthcare made?

portscanner: You and your babby daddy go get a job and you will have that covered

What if they have that and they're worried about other children who don't have that? What if it's a person without children who is concerned about those who have children?

serial_crusher: mind your own business?

So people who are worried about the welfare of others should just mind their own business?

Then go and help those who need help. It is called CHARITY. You go and you use your FREEDOM to GIVE help others.

Not to be confused by WELFARE. That is the process where those in power use FORCE to TAKE your FREEDOM and property from you to give it to those THEY decide are needy (or those who bribe them)

And if they're doing that and seeing there's not enough charity?

FORCE to TAKE your FREEDOM a

What freedom do food stamps or Section 8 housing take from you?

Those opposed to welfare, you know that Rome was a welfare state right? And it had nothing to do with their long term stability issues.

Bring back gladiatorial games with welfare recipients as gladiators. I would have no problem contributing my fair share.

Solution: rotate events every three hours.
