Lawyer man knew what he was doing. His goal was to cast this whole thing as a media-driven smear campaign (despite all evidence to the contrary). What else can do at this point?

Unfortunately for him and Cain, it isn't working.

I feel like this election will be used for years to come in marketing classes as an example of how not to run a campaign.

The whole interview was a master class in how not to be a crisis spokesman. Not sure what the whole, "I have the answers, but I'm not giving them to you" thing gets you. If you're on the side of the angels, then let everyone know it. Give them full access.

If his goal is to make Cain look less bad or, rather, getting paid, I beg to differ.

/Why watch TV these days? Let's see the writers of Jersey Shore and Glee come up with anything as entertaining as Herman Cain's entire campaign.

If this was all just an innocent relationship and Cain was just helping this woman with her financial trouble(for 13years!), then release the transcript of the texts. Show us that you are not full of shiat, Herman. If the texts include a "Weiner" pic, then for FSM's sake, release nothing!

Easy to dissect. Wood is defending his client, that is part of his job. Morgan wants to ask leading and provocative questions, that's his job. I would have preferred to have watched Brit Hume interview Herman Cain directly, with zero softball questions. Wouldn't have changed anything in respect to Cain's candidacy, that's over.

I think the best example from the last election was Hillary's campaign.

Lawyer man seems to not understand that when you're running for president EVERYTHING is in the public eye.
That's a very good question, Piers. Why ARE you there, Mr. Lawyer-man? If you're not going to talk about Herman Cain, but you're on tv as Herman Cain's lawyer, then what are you there to talk about?

This guy is an excellent lawyer. He dodges and deflects every question with the grace of a ballerina.

The coach on Glee is running for Congress on an anti-arts platform, and the gay kid's father is running against her. It's actually less insane than the current GOP mess, and that's including that the coach suggested her opponent has a baboon's heart.
