I laughed at some of them, but agree it was hard to imagine a 30 yr old talking like that to a 17 yr old. Or that a 17 yr old would talk to his 30 yr old cousin about anything at all.

Ugh, thanks. It's fake and it's lame. Responses have run the gamut from "it's not fake... that's how they talk!" to "maybe it's fake, but it's funny... that's how they talk!"

No, that is not how they talk. That's a sloppy approximation of how the upper-middle class thinks they talk. They may be complete idiots, but they don't talk like that.

Mac Lethal is pretty well known in Kansas City, I saw him battle some guys that were touring with the Wu Tang clan back in 2001 (with much success) so he has been around for a while. He's one of my fb friends so I can get updates on shows and he's been posting the Bennett text's for over a year on fb. If your 30 yo cousin was a semi famous rapper, I think you'd want to talk to him. Especially if you thought you were a gangsta.

He has some epic battles on youtube, all his fast raps are the shiat, his albums are decent.

I've only seen them on his facebook updates. Fark has taught me not to assume anything, so I won't.

TFLN is way better, and I would be willing to go with an average 75% of those are real.
