So they were probably selling pot and trying to grow shrooms for fun. If you're still doing jars and haven't traded up to some sort of bulk procedure, you're just doing it for personal use. One jar makes maybe an eighth, if you get it to grow at all. That's hardly a "factory."

No, I meant what I wrote. An ounce cost $25 and "quarter" (for a quarter of a pound or four ounces) was around $75 to $80. I don't know what period you're referring to, but when I was buying the stuff, we'd turn our nose up at the Mexican skunk weed and wouldn't buy it. That was usually sold in the hood. But I can assure you that I bought many a lid of Colombian "red bud" for $25. That was for tops and shake. All tops would set you back between $35 and $40.

But from what I understand they are quite potent.....meaning one would not have to eat as much....MEANING that one would likely not have to eat more than 1/2 an 8th, which is what I said.

Half an eighth? Isn't that a sixteeth? A sixteenth of what? An ounce? That could come up to about 1 3/4 grams, which would be good for potent, or initiate use. A sixteenth of a gram wouldn't be very much material.

These fkin drug laws are insane. One of the biggest reasons drugs is a priority is because Police Dept's get FED FUNDING for drug related arrests. This FED money has corrupted the process so much that the investigation of violent crimes have been shoved aside for simple drug offense arrests. (Been PROVEN in several CA pd's: LA times broke a big story on it last month).

Mushroom strength can vary a lot. I've heard of 3g being mild, but I've also seen 2.5g give a level 5 trip. That said, I'd consider 3g = one trip, even if it was insanely powerful. Cops have better things to do than go after one trip's worth of mushrooms, like for example, any crime where someone was actually harmed.
