Thank you. Finally someone gets it. Do not give us origin stories. It is what made Halloween so great the first time. Michael Myers was just nuts and you didn't have all the information. Jeepers Creepers sucked but I loved it cause you had no idea what that thing was, why it existed or how it got powers.

We fear what goes "bump in the night." If you tell us it's "Fred from down the street," not so scary now...

The story takes place 30 years before Alien.

And yes, the Space Jockey will be a part of the film. But from what is going around, this is more and more becoming it's own story, with eventual tie-ins to the Aliens. Basically them being created for a space war.

Here's to hoping it will be a good flick.

I was able to watch the trailer before it was yanked and even though it was the worst quality possible, the epicness still came through. This movie is going to be farking awesome.

That pic drives me crazy. Did somebody's 6 year old Photoshop that?

I, for one, was really interested in the space jockey's story. And the way Scott talked about it made me think he'd do it the right way if he had his way.

Unfortunately, the only way to do it right would be to have no humans in it, which means no actors (except maybe in suits and makeup, so, same thing), so the studios would never go for it.

(I also wonder how a space jockey would ever get impregnated since the facehuggers were the size of human faces...)
