Seriously, this almost same scenario happened right in front of my house this summer. I heard a terrible noise and ran out in time to see a Mustang skidding to a stop on the median in flames and then it immediately exploded.

It was exactly like Hollywood. It scared me pretty damned badly too. Everyone got out of the car in time, but one girl was burned rather badly. It burst into flames before it even stopped.
