I think that's the other way around.

So, she tries to wake him up, he wont wake up so then she calls the cops? I don't think I would be trying to prod the passed out man who just wrecked my apartment awake. I think I'd just call the cops and let them prod him awake.

Or just shoot him, then call the cops. Its florida, there wouldn't be charges and saves the hassle of having to testify.
