I can't believe how many Republicans actually think this.

Oh, wait -- yes I can, easily.

2011-12-01 02:07:25 PM
You're a nightmare, alright

2011-12-01 02:52:59 PM
He said that with a straight face?

You're both terrible.

So vote Obama.

Silly teahadists. Morally AND ethically bankrupt

Crap! They found out the secret plan!

The albatross is a go...I repeat, the albatross is a go!

A bad nightmare after eating too much crappy pizza late at night.

2011-12-01 02:57:19 PM
So, Democrats are launching this attack now, to ruin his campaign so Obama would run againt Newt, when they could wait until Cain's the nominee and not have anyone to run against?

Makes sense to me!

Their worst nightmare is Huntsman.

The reality is Romney.

The rest are a punchline.

the most likely people attacking him at this point in time are his fellow republicans.

Well, compared to Gingrich, I suppose that's true. Cain seemed the stronger opponent before all of the scandals fired up, Newt would definitely be an easier opponent to take on.

However, Cain was his own worst enemy, his penis at least.

Well, if they really were afraid of facing Cain in the general election... wait a second...

*stifling laughter*

okay...

*tears starting to come out*

... just another second....

Okay. If they really were afraid of facing Cain in the general election, wouldn't they wait until he was the nominee, then unleash the dirty tricks?

2011-12-01 03:03:32 PM
I've said it before and I'll say it again: if the Democrats were coming after him with this stuff, they'd wait until he won a bunch of primaries, or until he was pretty much guaranteed the nomination. It makes no sense to open up on him now.

2011-12-01 03:04:53 PM
The Democrats are not responsible for this, unless by "Democrats" he means his schwanzstucker.

Although, trying once again to be serious, there is precedent for "ratfarking" during the primary season, with Edmund Muskie and the Canuck Letter. But it would make so much more sense to wait until the opposing party has picked the nominee.

I actually submitted the link.

If i were a Dem, I'd take Cain. Newt is profoundly uncharsimatic but does have a kind of unearned credibility with the right. Can he attract independents? Not nearly enough, I'd say. However, Cain on the other hand is woefully unprepared. He doesn't even have a cursory knowledge of foreign policy, nor for that matter a grasp on current events. His domestic policies so far have been childish and unworkable, so he's not really a threat to get any independent support.

Holy fark. As a Canadian I can safely say that "Friend and Ally" isn't going to be the case... he should just relabel us "Country that needs to do business with you, but really is embarrassed to be seen with you in public."

Not so much didn't want to vote for him, more like they're physically incapable of it. This is a party who, if given half a chance, would drag the country kicking and screaming back to the early 20th century. Think blacks had a whole lot of fun back then? Think anyone aside from the uber-rich did?

If anything, the fact Cain has lasted as long as he has is proof of the GOP's racism. It's like, "Hey look, guys! We have a black friend too! His name is Herman!"

UK: "Special relationship"
China: "Favored trade partner"
Canada: "Look America you're sort of a cool guy and all when you're not drinking but this shiat has to stop I mean seriously you wrecked my car the other day and you weren't even driving how is that possible"

"Nine-Nine-Nine!" is not a policy, it is a sales promotion.

No kidding. Every time I think about the USA / Canada relationship these days, I find statements like, "I think we need some space; I need some 'me' time; it's not you, it's me (well ok, it's you); we can still be friends; I'll call you some time" etc.

coeyagi: Dumbass tag on vacay? Or is this a sarcastic "obvious" tag?

The Dumbass tag recently gave an interview with a local FOX NEWS affiliate in which it revealed a long-term, secret affair with Cain. Cain's campaign responded that the claims were "groundless," and that the candidate and tag were simply associated with circles within the Politics tab that frequently overlapped.

This apparent damage-control statement came despite the fact that many respected FARK political analysts have previously noted close public association between Cain and the Dumbass tag, raising questions around whether the two may even yet be engaged in some sort of mutually-beneficial publicity scheme.

This. And if the GOP could get grip on itself for godsakes they might stand a chance of winning the White House. Instead, they will persue a policy of derp and be destroyed because they have gotten to the point where any sign of good sense is seen as not conservative enough.
