That half tree would be awesome here, actually. But we already went out and bought a 4ft fake tree, so it looks like we'll be using that for the next few years.

Wow, that is the most annoying site to be on. The bar at the bottom takes up too much space and the popups just made me leave.

Don't go there.

My problem with it? It's $477. It'd be cheaper to but a real tree and the power tools to cut it in half.

I find that a cordless reciprocating saw with a wood blade is an adequate replacement for a chainsaw for light duty work (like Christmas trees) or indoors.

I have some very disturbing memories of tinsel and a certain sausage dog...

What's wrong with Star Wars christmas decorations? I have light-up ornaments Darth Vader's TIE Fighter and the second (unfinished) Death Star. When the tree turns on, the Emperor talks from the Death Star and says "As you can see, my young apprentice, your friends have failed. Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battlestation. Fire at will, commander!" Nothing says Christmas to me now like the destruction of rebel capital ships.

/It's just a little freaky when you're sitting there alone and the Emperor starts talking to you

I decorated the neighbors Santa one year.
