At least that's what they've told him.

Dancing has nothing to do with vision anyway. The man can express himself musically better than 100% of the planet, I think he'll do fine.

if the blind can hunt in minnesota and texas, they can dance on tv.

Oh man, Stevie. This is just wrong.

The guy is my hero. He's a living legend, and he's stooping to this shiate.

Who's next, Paul McCartney?

It doesn't sound as if they've thought this all the way through. I saw him almost dance himself into an orchestra pit, live in concert, in the 70's. He was much younger then so he may have survived the fall.
At least he didn't have to see Nancy Grace's nipple.

Sounds like a SNL skit

Know this ABC... You make my musical hero look bad on your little show I will hunt you all down and make you wished I called some crack fiends with plyers and blowtorches.

I didn't know he could look at all.

Pair him up with a good partner that understands they need to lead and he'll be fine. Dancing is all about body control and being one with the music, he should have an advantage there.

2011-12-01 11:49:32 AM
Maybe he'll learn the Do-See-Do.

You know what, he's Stevie Farking Wonder and if he's doing this because he wants to and thinks he'll have fu then more power to him.

But if this is because some manager of his just wants to promote some upcoming box set or live album or something then I recommend a minimum of three red-hot pokers up the ass.

Can't be any worse than Chaz Bono's standing around.

This is fine with me if he wants to dance, just don't let the man start talking FFS, because he will not shut up.

/I predict there will be much side-to-side rocking and hand clapping.

So what ? Ray Charles did a commercial for Peugeot.

And he really seemed to have a blast doing it.

Oh they call it "Dancing With The Stars", but the real name has always been "Tripping With The Has-Beens"

IIRC, I think he lost his sight as a very young child (3-4 years old). He's never confirmed it, but I think he has some very limited perifpheral light sensitivity.

If anyone can figure out how to do it, it will be him.

Yes, but as they will be dancing, and he is the man, he will ostensibly be the one doing the leading.
