He's trying to play it down so the auction price is lower and he doesn't have to pay as much for it

Woz is obviously a paid Microsoft and/or Google shill, spreading "anti-Apple propaganda" from his mother's basement.

Woz is too cool to use paper.

So, some guy that wrote a book about Apple is discounting the opinion of the guy that was there and signed the paperwork as splitting hairs? It seems like the description of the contract is intentionally murky to drive interest in it.

I mean, if you said you were selling the contract that founded the company Apple Computers, Inc....then what they are selling isn't it. Yes, it has Woz and Jobs on it, so it is probably worth something anyway.

But, it seems kinda disingenuous to complain about splitting hairs when, obviously, there is a pretty big hair to split.

Does sound like splitting hairs with me. It may be Apple the partnership, but it would become Apple the corporation. Is this not when they founded the idea of Apple?

TFA: Technically Woz is correct in that Apple Computer the partnership isn't the same legal entity as Apple Computer Inc., but to call it murky is stretching it.

You're right: it's not murky at all. As you pointed out, it is quite clear cut: the partnership outlined in this contract, and the corporation later founded under the same name, are not the same entity. Period... no murkiness about it.

That means he's the best kind of correct.
