THIS

Preventing a portion of the public from becoming a mass of angry vigilantes attacking brown people because of a murder at the border is a part of being a leader.

How many billions did this action put in Halliburton's bank accounts? How many lies were told to provoke a war with a country which wasn't a threat to us? How did the president, his friends and family profit from this 'coverup'?

None? Gee, why am I not interested?

Obama could almost guarantee victory in 2012 by throwing Holder under a bus.

Does it matter if Judicial Watch is partisan or not? The fact that the Obama administration is sealing these records is very, very telling.

TFA keeps mentioning Border Patrol agents getting fired for stuff, then equates this to Holder getting fired.

When did DoJ assume control of the Border Patrol?

It's only telling to those who are open to the notion that this administration is more of the same. Unfortunately with most of his supporters, as you can see already in this thread, they prefer to stick their fingers in their ears and yell out BLAH BLAH I CANT HEAR YOU!! B......BU....BUT BUSH!!!

The Bush administration was not transparent and contained corruption.
The Obama administration is not transparent and contains corruption.

Not news.

That the Obama administration is quite capable of operating in secret. Isn't that bad enough? Who knows what else is going on.

Not that it matters a hell of a whole lot, but this is how Judicial Watch describes themselves: "Judicial Watch, Inc., a conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, promotes transparency, accountability and integrity in government, politics and the law."

Dude, this is all political. We already know most of the story. The only reason to hide the rest of the story is to hide political scandal, or worse, actual law breaking.

If this was 2006 and it was Bush, liberals from every dark crevice in America would be screaming bloody murder. Sunshine is the best disinfectant.

My point is this: Politicians are corrupt by their very nature, by the very fact that they decided to enter politics. The greed, dishonesty and avarice is part and parcel of the life of a politician. They are all crooked to some degree. If you haven't accepted that, as shiatty a fact as it is, then you are being woefully naive.

So when something like this happens, I am hit with a "who gives a rat's ass" emotion, as I have been with Solyndra and pretty much every Obama "scandal" that has hit the news. In the grand scheme of things, this is small potatoes.

I am far more bothered by the God damned no-string-attached bailouts of Wall Street and by Obama being in the pocket of big money then I am by tiny little scandals like this. IF he gets us into a bullshiat war and empties the farking treasury doing it, I will scream like I did against his predecessor.

It sucks that I am this desensitized to everyday dust-ups, and I wish it was different, but that is the way it is.

Pretty sure that's referring to me, though I don't believe I'm defending anything. I've gotten a lot of people angry at me lately for insisting we not try people in the media.

I don't know what a "zonie" is so I'm going to assume it's some kind of gang slang. Also I know a pretty empty beach in Laguna that I like to hang out at. You've just got to know where to go.

Zonie (noun): Short of Arizonian, these people invade local beach towns in California during the summer causing traffic jams, and straight up annoying the population of the local town.

You can't have it both ways. You can't say guns don't cause murders and the Justice Department covered up a murder caused by a gun.

What cover-up? What's the cover-up all about? Allowing guns to get in the hands of criminals. Red necks do that everyday in the parking lots of gun shows. What's the big deal if you think gun control is stupid?

Personally, I think the JD farked up royally and everyone who allowed this to happen should be fired. If Obama was aware of it and did nothing to stop it, he should be impeached. Of course, my position is completely consistent with how dangerous I think guns are and the need for very tight gun controls. It is just funny to see the mental gymnastics of Conservatives who so desperately want to hang the JD on this while not conceding that access to this weapon could very well have caused this murder of an officer.
