And he is still James Bond, Subby. The next Bond movie stars Craig as Bond.

I don't get it.

Yeah, not sure he's fading into oblivion any time soon. He's got the Millennium trilogy up next, doesn't he?

Daniel Craig: winning.

I forgive Mr. Craig for Cowboys and Aliens, but so far his resume is pretty good.

And in regards to the Kardashians I say live and let live, granted I would say that the whole gang is more infamous than actually famous it's not like they're killing people (at least not literally).

If people get their kicks from watching other people live their lives oh well, more power to them.

Should not most of your hate go toward those "fans" who make this possible. Without ratings/viewers we would not be exposed to this nonsense. One could argue that the Khardashian skanks are merely profiting off the stupid. Is that really wrong?

It is not like they were approving mortgages for people who could not afford homes , encouraging people to put 100% of their 401k in Enron or AOL or giving tax payer money to Solyndra.

You're right-the hatred is also for those that continue to give a fark what these "celebs" are doing, and to the media for continuing to report on it. I hate going to the grocery store and seeing the Ass that ate Los Angeles on the cover of every magazine in the check out aisle. I told my wife that the TV in our house would have an axe through it if she even accidentally tuned in to their show.

Can't stand him. His Bond is unwatchable, and impossible to give a shiat about. James Bond has charm, it is 70% of what made him enjoyable as a character. Craig exhibits nothing but badass. No charm, no personality at all, just badass. That isn't James Bond, it is Dirty Harry Does London. It stinks. They also need to stop with all the Bourne quick-cuts. It is distracting.

He doesn't need to apologize for Cowboys and Aliens. It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. Now Dream House on the other hand was a steaming pile of s***. However, with the swing at the Kardashians, all is forgiven. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo better be good though.

If you read the books that was what Bond was always meant to be. Fleming himself described Bond as "a thug in a dinner jacket."

Also, he plays Bond the way the script was written and the director wanted. Directors tell the actors exactly how they want the character played, how to say a line, how to look etc. Hating the actor because you don't like the character makes no sense.

Yeah, sorry folks, but Connery isn't coming back to be James Bond, and anyone trying to play the character like him will fail. Craig's take on Bond is probably the closest we'll ever get to the source material.

That said, I didn't really like Quantum of Solace. It had some good elements, but too many uneccessary action scenes and too much close-up shaki-cam. Also, the villain was bland and looked like anyone here could kick his ass.

Casino Royale was the best Bond film since the Connery era, and was better than some of Connery's movies.

1/10. You prefered Die Another Day? Octopussy? The World is Not Enough? Yeah, some real winners there, ace. Just go DIAF, you have no taste. Casino Royale was great. Quantum of Solace, not so much, but the story was very thin as was characterization, Craig was fine though.

QoS wasn't a Bond flick, it was a revenge flick, and that's what made it terrible. It had nothing to do with saving the world (the water side story was just retarded) and getting the girl, and everything to do with Bond finding the killer of the brunette chick from Casino Royale.

I found C&A so disappointing because the 1st half hr. was so awesome and from there imo it just fell to pieces of cheesiness. What was especially annoying to me wasn't Craig though, it was that farking cross between Dirty Harry and Christian Bales Batman voice Harrison employed. The only senior citizen's that can walk around sporting a walker and still pull of bad ass are Eastwood and Bronson! Got that Hollywood? Ford ruined that movie for me.

I always found even the Connery/Moore Bond to be a pretty thuggish guy. Yes he had a veneer of technological sophistication and some intelligence, but in general, he killed people, often messily, and then cracked jokes about it. Also his style of "seduction" crossed the line to "forceful rape" on a number of occasions.

I think they could have made it work, but they couldn't decide on a good, single plot. It just seemed like a bunch of ideas slapped together. License to Kill was a bit of a revenge story and turned out pretty cool.

QoS tried too hard to be modern/futuristic with the environmentalist thing, hydrogen hotels (lol), stealing all the water (lol x2) etc.

I feel like they could just change two or three scenes in that movie and it would end up as a decent Bond film.

There's a quite good Mitchell & Webb sketch where they play a couple cleaning up after a dinner party while discussing the absolute arsehole, James, who their friend Jane Moneypenny brought along.
