Gentlemen, there is no better shave than the one you get after lathering up with a brush, and you don't have to spend $450 to buy a good one and a disc of shaving soap. A standard non-motorized version is an excellent gift to give yourself.

So I just bought 5 of those aeroshot things. I tend to get over my mid-day slump with a caffeinated soda. Gonna give these a try and see if maybe I can't just get my caffeine fix without the calorie filled soda...

I'd also scrap the razor they include. Multibladed monstrosities do nothing but wreck your face.
A nice safety razor or a cutthroat is the way to go.

Personally, I find diet Mtn Dew to taste like crap. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

The brush is also very useful when you fly a lot and carry everything on as I do. Just throw the brush in your toiletry bag and use the facial soap at the hotel. You'll save space in your bag and won't need to spend extra money on a travel size can of shaving cream while having a much nicer shave.

NoDoz are cheaper.

Money isn't an issue. 5 for $15 (free shipping right now) falls into the cheap crap to buy for fun category. Now, if they end up being awesome, then the company might have a new client. But mostly this is a purchase for entertainment with the off chance that maybe it'll replace my daily afternoon soda.

Agreed... switched to old school double-edge not that long ago and hate that I didn't do it before.

The fact that you simply can't easily find anything in local stores has a lot to do with it.

What decided me was last year when I got a 4 blade cartridge razor that had a single blade on the top for precise touch-ups, and I was starting to use that single blade for the whole shave as I simply found it better and easier to use.

Just ordered an old Gillette adjustable and looking forward to see how it'll be, compared to the others I have.

The aeroshot looks too much like a shotgun shell for me to put it in my mouth, that's how accidents happen. One second you're needing a pick-me-up, the next and you're a modern art masterpiece on the adjacent wall.

Okay, if I ever give in an get an iPad, I will need that brush. Finally, I will be able to paint again!
