fta: The document outlines a platform for the party focused on ending the corporate influence, stopping wars, promoting human and civil rights and ending for-profit prisons.

Nice ideas but no realistic hope of implementing them.

GardenWeasel: Great. Nader 2.0

And THIS.

Wouldn't be surprised if the GOP weren't looking at ways to fund this guy's campaign.

I'll see what Obama does with this upcoming internet bill.

Depending on that, I already like Rocky.

Based on the article I would guess his new party is called the Invisible Dicks Party

I lived in SLC while Rocky was mayor. He was the best. Imagine being a progressive mayor in the heart of a functional theocracy. He has major cojones.

I will vote for him in 2012 if he gets on the ballot in California without reservation. He knows how to speak truth to power effectively and he's never wavered in sticking up for the disenfranchised and underrepresented.

Finally, some good news in this election cycle.

He was a guest on Maddow last night. I'm not inclined towards 3rd parties much, but it sounds like he's going for actual Justice, to go along with the Economic Justice of the Occupy movements. Prosecute people who commit crimes, even if they are wealthy.

As someone who joined the Democrats in 2004 to oppose the Bush Administration, I've been let down on their commitment to justice. So I'll keep an eye on this guy, and see what happens.
