It's hard to imagine a snail eating a slug or anything that isn't a plant, they seem so slow and passive

Hey, thanks for the pic!!

No, the page only showed the regular black snail. I tried reloading the page and it never worked. Didn't even show a place holder.

Thanks again!

Reminds me of that short story I've read so long ago. Still gives me the creeps. There was no white snail but the last thing that guy saw was a bunch of snail eggs just hatched and the babies are crawling towards him. X(

There's nothing I love better that a good snail fighting competition. Couple of carnivorous snails, fighting to the death for hours on end. Days, even. I mean, PETA's against it but it's just so suspenseful and thrilling.

Hey, if the thing would eat Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs then I'd positively welcome it into my house.

/ really tired of the stink bugs.

I like snails in general, although I did think of escargot and wondered. But the main thing I'm wondering, oh international Farkers - what is a Milky Bar?

Well, ya gotta be able to catch what you eat, so if they eat any meat at all, it's gonna be a slug or another snail.

A Japanese comedy-trivia program actually raced a snail and a slug for a 100-meter dash. Even included rotating pit crews to spray them with water and flashy "hype up" TV graphics. They rotated because the race took several days. Don't remember who won, but it was hilarious to watch.

They can be pretty quick, when they want to be.

Damn, if I'm ever in New Zealand I'm gonna make sure I have a couple of wekas with me before I go traipsing through the woods. There's nothing tougher to detect than a snail that's stalking you.
