The article mentions that he is a repeat offender. Perhaps the redundancy in the article is an effort to drive that point home. But my question is this: how the hell does a guy who has done this kind of thing before find a girl who will even invite him over for Thanksgiving, let alone invite him over often enough that he has laid claim to a particular chair? Yea, but TFA did say 'repeat offender'. If this guy is a habitual violent offender, that probably has a lot to do with the severity of the potential sentence.
