Oh well...

At least he's no longer DTD. I had to put him on IR this morning...best replacement on the boards is Steve Montador. That's a big step down.

Fark lazyman league FTW!

I figured he had knocked up another reporter.

Has anyone commented on how Pronger is a dirty piece of sh*t?

Because if not, I would like to put forth that suggestion.

Did he try a cheap shot on Yzerman again?

French Rage: I figured he had knocked up another reporter.

Is that the story behind his Edmonton departure? It was so unspoken at the time, and my google fu sucks, so I never found out the story.
Weird that his wife would demand the trade rather than divorcing his cheap-shotting ass.

Yes. That happened.

ThisNameSux: Did he try a cheap shot on Yzerman again?

Is there a clip of that on YouTube? I've looked but not able to find it.

I saw the game. Yzerman was playing with a bad injury and Pronger was taking cheap shots at him all game. I went to take a leak and when I got back the anouncers talked about Pronger being out but they never replayed it. So I never got to see how Pronger injured himself while taking runs at Yzerman. I do really know how he got hurt.

I knew ordering that winter classic jersey this weekend with his name on it was premature.

Damnit, Pronger, you owe me 150 bucks now.

I wanted my trifecta of trifectas for football. I was robbed! We had 8 greens about football in a row.

You beat me to it. He's a dirty, cheap-shotting piece of garbage and I will be happy when he finally retires.

I'm hoping for another hockey thread, one that doesn't cover the trite "Pronger sucks/is an asshole" for the thousandth time.

/not a Pronger fan

I wouldn't say that Pronger sucks. He's a skilled player who makes a difference to his team and is a Stanley Cup champion.

But...

He is, without question, one of the dirtiest players of the modern era and is largely unapologetic about it. His antics with the pucks from the Stanley Cup final in 2010 was utterly classless and showed the true extent of his f*cking cocksuckery.

I'm convinced he got a hold of the Cup winning puck somehow and either kept it or threw it away.

Or sent it to the Blackhawks' AHL-affiliate addressed "C/O Adam Burish".

/can't stand either player.

Flagging this headline as a repeat headline because HE ALWAYS REPEATS THIS CRAP

seriously, if momds start banning identical headlines, Pronger may actually have to play

Great contract for Philadelphia, really great. Pronger's been great when he can play but he's been injured a lot (go figure considering his age and playing style).

They're still on the hook for his entire contract even after he retires because he signed it after he turned 35. I guess Holmgren's not so big on that "math" thing.

No pity for the black and orange.

/really wishes every team in the league would line up 1-3-1 against them for the rest of the year.

The media protects their own. They all tiptoed around it and nothing was ever said on air or publicly (and they refused to identify the reporter in question), but the truth leaked evidently.

Pronger's wife was so furious that she pulled the kids out of school and sold the house during the Stanley Cup Finals. She told him to demand an immediate trade the day after the playoffs or she would file divorce papers instead. They spent the summer in their other home in St Louis -- in other words, not a day more than necessary was spent in Edmonton, and Pronger was to have absolutely no contact with the reporter ever again.

Hijacking thread because hockey is on-so not really hijacking, more creative steering. Lol @ Avery.

I dont want to alarm anyone, but the Stars, Wild, Panthers and Leafs are all leading their divisions

It's okay, the Islanders and Blue Jackets are still propping up the rest of the league. It's not the apocalypse, just one horseman going out for a practice trot.

. . . wait, a friggin' Versus commentator just called Crosby "Cindy". I take it back, the end is nigh.

Meh. The Bruins started of horribly, yet are still only one point behind. Plus the Leafs are 5-4-1 in their last 10.

I give it a couple more weeks before these signs start popping up all over Ontario:

That's a shame...

Bruins need to take care of business in the Home and Home series with Toronto this week. Big four points on the line.
