Subby, Cain's non-denial of this pretty much admits that it is true. His attorney made a statement yesterday indicating that his personal consensual sexual conduct is not something about which the public may inquire. If in fact this woman was making this up, don't you think Cain himself would say, with mighty indignation, that she was lying?

2011-11-29 12:39:28 PM
I believe the pattern here would be that Cain preys on troubled women, Subasshat.

2011-11-29 12:42:34 PM
Desperation.

2011-11-29 12:49:36 PM
If she's lying, why is Cain taking her bullshiat?

2011-11-29 12:52:58 PM
Yeah, she's so unrealiable and such an obvious liar that, if I were Cain, I might even consider denying her claim. An extreme and drastic step, to be sure, but since Cain claims to come up with lots of "bode plans," I'm surprised he hasn't yet considered such a bode move.

2011-11-29 12:53:44 PM
I suspect subby is such a troll that he'd use the same list to justify his favored candidate having murdered someone.

2011-11-29 12:53:48 PM
Did they even change the wording from the last time they ran this story with a different accuser?

BritneysSpeculum: Subby, Cain's non-denial of this pretty much admits that it is true.

The important thing isn't whether the affair actually happened, the important thing is that this woman is a poor single mother, which makes her less of a human being and therefore makes Cain's transgression less of a big deal.

Switching gears, does the Daily Mail even cover UK news anymore?

"Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults - a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The public's right to know and the media's right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one's bedroom door."

Yes, this was written by a Republican and not Bill Clinton.

Funny -- when Bill Clinton was running for office, he was as pure as the wind driven snow when it came to sexual relations with other women and sexual harassment. I am amazed how the standard is raised when it is a black conservative male running for office.

Um, no. Everyone knew Clinton was a horn dog, they just didn't care that much.

Clinton wasn't running to represent the party of 'family values' and 'good Christian morals'

No no, the important thing is the liberal media is conspiring against Herman Cain because black conservative and racism and plantation.

We're holding Gingrich to the same standards. But he really doesn't seem to care.

Oh, and b-b-but Sanford. And Ensign. And Coburn's trying to broker a hush money payoff on his behalf.

Personally, I could care less who Cain stuck his dick in. He ain't getting the nomination, and that's enough for me.

THIS from the man who says he would support a federal anti-gay marriage law.

The rumors of an affair are probably baseless - Herman Cain (on CNN today). Probably? Seriously?

Look, there's a major difference between the new woman and the previous accusers. This one brought back evidence.

See CS Monitor:

" She [Ginger White] showed us some of her cell phone bills that included 61 phone calls or text messages to or from a number starting with 678. She says it is Herman Cain's private cell phone. The calls were made during four different months- calls or texts made as early as 4:26 in the early morning, and as late as 7:52 at night. The latest were in September of this year.

"We've never worked together," said White. "And I can't imagine someone phoning or texting me for the last two and a half years, just because."

We texted the number and Herman Cain called us back. He told us he "knew Ginger White" but said these are "more false allegations." He said she had his number because he was "trying to help her financially.""

FTA: Cain said he would respond to specific allegations through his attorney, Lin Wood. "When we know the story, we will respond," he said.

My, yes. That's a bode denial.

White said the two met at a presentation Cain gave for the National Restaurant Association in Kentucky, and afterward the two had drinks. Cain invited her back to his hotel, she said, and the relationship took off.

The woman provided cell phone bills showing calls to a number she said was Cain's personal mobile phone. A reporter for the television station called that number and reached Cain, he said.
Linky Poo (new window)

I find that last line hilarious. Awwwwkward.

I am not amazed that you have such a creative memory. Clinton took plenty of criticism, but he had positive qualifications to offset his negative ones. Cain doesn't.

Subtard didn't mention that Cain has changed his story and publicly considered dropping out of the race. That gives her a bit of credibility relative to him.

Also, Democrats realize that Clinton was running for President, "conservatives" think the race is for Pastor in Chief.

Dude, I think that I speak for most democrats when I say that I would love for Cain to be the GOP nominee. Only Bachmann (or maybe Paul) would be better (mostly for the luz). Like them, Cain has no chance of appealing to moderates who decide elections and who clearly recognize that 999 is pure bs.

2011-11-29 02:32:10 PM
I think Cain realized he took his little scheme to pretend to run for president as far as it could/should go. He either saw these accusations coming, or maybe even got people to make them on his behalf so he'd have a plausible reason to drop out. Plus provide him plenty of ammunition to make himself look like he was mistreated by the media.

Great stuff for book sales and motivational speaking gigs.

I think you'd be really hard-pressed to find a Democrat on here that would defend Edwards.

Actually, no, it was weak.

And that you say that about the candidate who's played all the race cards in the deck is truly funny.

The conservatives have to defend him. Because they want to prove to the world that they have black friends too and therefore are not racist.

But seriously, conservatives, just give him up. He's a really lousy candidate that has really lousy ideas and he's only running for office to sell books.

Was discussing this earlier, but really if all of these women are just lying gold diggers out to get Cain and his money, then why doesn't he just take them to court for libel?
