Damn you, subby!

He's been running for Vice President for a while now, and the sex stories mean he's going to have to endorse either Romney or Gingrich. So he's reassessing: go for birds of a feather with Gingrich, or opposites attract with Romney?

...he got better?

2011-11-29 12:51:53 PM
Yes he needs like 3 or 4 more affairs and ditching wives when they are sick or old to hit the morality level of a GOP leader of someone like Gingrich!

2011-11-29 12:51:55 PM
So the Presidential Cain Train got derailed* while trying to set up another sort of Cain Train, yes?

*I originally typoed this as "defailed"... that needs to be a word.

I know that Cain is coming to Ohio State tomorrow afternoon. I'll be at work, haha.

Anyways this stuff never happened to Obama.

Yes, a significant portion of the Right in this country buys into his campaign.

If that doesn't terrify you, I don't know what will.

The people who vote republican did, and that's scary on multiple levels.

Goodnight, Herm man.

its a good idea to pick newt. after all, its not like instantly alienating 50% of the population by picking a man who clearly hates women wont back fire.

Well John Edwards became a social pariah and his wife, a symbol for female solidarity, resolve and strength.

Herman Cain became a laughing-stock, was shown to be a pig. I'd assume his wife becomes a symbol of being hoodwinked into a relationship with a man who can't keep it in his pants.

Came here to say this. At this point if Cain were to continue, it would hurt his sales. He's stepping down right when the line of diminishing returns would come up. Got in, got his free advertising and he's out. Ah, a page from the Palin playbook.

Isn't he the first Republican in a while to be caught cheating with a woman?

Meh... He was just the flavor of the month.

It's funny watching the GOP do everything they can to convince themselves they'll have a candidate other than Romney. My guess is once they figure out Newt is worthless they'll finally come to accept that Romney is their guy.

You're right, the rest of the GOP is stuck thinking it is 1980, let's say f*ck and get someone into office who thinks it's 1880.

FOX News was really into him. He was their Black friend. You know; The guy they refer to in order to prove they aren't racist.

Unfortunately, he's also an idiot, a philanderer, a liar, and a flavor-of-the-month. They've always known it was going to be Gingrich or Romney. Probably both of them together, with Newt in the top position. The whole build-up is just part of the show. It sells papers, gets people to watch advertisements on TV as they surround debates and discussion about the candidates, and otherwise keeps the money train rolling for those who are REALLY in control of the country: The corporations.

The Presidential election at this point is just as valid and influential as the Ms. America pageant. `Distraction and entertainment. `Nothing more.

2011-11-29 12:57:25 PM
Is subby referring to Newt or John Edwards?

2011-11-29 12:57:39 PM
Happy now, racists? Much less chance of another black man in office now, huh?

2011-11-29 12:57:40 PM
This just shows how racist the liberal media is. Cain is behaving exactly like any other African American man, but because it's politically convenient all of a sudden they try to force white values upon him.

Desquamation: It's funny watching the GOP do everything they can to convince themselves they'll have a candidate other than Romney. My guess is once they figure out Newt is worthless they'll finally come to accept that Romney is their guy.

It's all just a smoke screen to keep eyes off Romney. Let everyone else take the hits and then he gets relatively high ratings walking into the presidential debates.

2011-11-29 12:58:11 PM
He should have pulled out much sooner. Like, 13 years ago.

2011-11-29 12:58:21 PM
What the hell else did he expect? He's functionally retarded in the political arena, he has zero experience, and he apparently thought a lifetime of at least questionable behavior with every woman that crossed his path was somehow going to stay out of the news. Ross Perot wasn't this bad.

At least Perry, who is also functionally retarded, can at least claim he was the governor of a state. Bachmann managed to get elected. The only thing Cain has experience with is losing elections, so he can at least notch this fiasco under his belt.

Although I doubt it, I'm kind of hoping two separate scandals knock Gingrich and Romney out, and Huntsman manages to step in simply by not being either one of them. It's highly unlikely, though.

2011-11-29 12:58:23 PM
I hope he stays in. If we approach the convention with Cain, Gingrich, Romney, Perry, RONPAUL, and some Bachmann-esque retards all looking like they had even a slight chance at the nomination, the attack ads would be hysterical. They'd start with calling each other then "soft on" (abortion/terrorism/deficits/whatever), then liars, then RINOs ... and after a month or two, it would devolve into two-hour infomercials that consist entirely of Photoshopped pictures of their rivals stabbing puppies.

"Herman Cain is reassessing whether or not Herman Cain should continue running Herman Cain for President of the United States. It is only up to Herman Cain whether Herman Cain continues. Those of you who are not Herman Cain should not be so quick to decide Herman Cain's fate.

Herman Cain has also perfected the deep dish pizza crust. It is neither too chewy or Herman Cain. Herman Cain will decide whether Herman Cain should market Herman Cain's new and improved pizza crust or whether Herman Cain should keep his Herman Cain crust to Herman Cain."

It's not a book tour either. It's a movie! He's Sasha Baron Cohen in black face. I can't believe people can't tell.

Seems like African Americans would want a higher quality candidate to reperesent them in office. Having mostly loser white candidates haven't helped us Caucasoids much.

Desquamation: It's funny watching the GOP do everything they can to convince themselves they'll have a candidate other than Romney. My guess is once they figure out Newt is worthless they'll finally come to accept that Romney is their guy.

That's how the primaries work. Everyone gets a bump to the lead for a trial run, and if they go down in flames they don't pass Go. So far it's happened to Gingrich (once so far), Bachmann, Perry, and now Cain.

Honestly, all Romney has to do is not poop himself on television during any of the remaining debates and he's gold.

Fair is fair.
