"And give Desean Jackson his money, dammit!"

Reid tossed it to him, but it went right through his hands.

KingKauff: Dammit, subby! I was hoping this was real. I am enjoying watching the Philadelphia Heat implode.

I also thought it was real at first but then I remembered that it would mean that Lurie would have to pay Andy Reid to not coach the team for two years. He would never do that, Andy's job is safe through the end of next year. That's when they will clean house - Reid, Vick, and DeSean (after they franchise him and he signs the tender, making him untradeable).

Well, whaddaya' expect when you take your offensive line coach and make him defensive coordinator? Reid shoulda been fired for that a while back. He's totally lost it.

On a related note, who gets the axe first, Andy Reid or Norv Turner?

Not only can I not understand the noises that come out of children's mouths, I get angry at their parents for not teaching their kids how to enunciate properly and have at least decent diction.

Regardless of contract obligations, we've just seen the first NFL head coach firing today and more are coming. Reid and Turner are at the top of the block. My question was really, who's next? What says you?

Considering what Caldwell has to work with, which isn't much at all, I don't think the Colts will pull the trigger. I see the Colts recent failure as more of a personel issue than anything else. Without Mannning on the field, they're really bad and I think they're one of the older teams in the league based on average player age. (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that) If anyone in Indy should be looking over their shoulder, I think it has to be Bill Polian. Welcome to the world of being a fan of an aging, once awesome, team... assuming you're a Colts fan, Fred.

Sporano, huh? There's another coach that doesn't have a whole lot to work with, IMO. I kinda doubt he'll get the axe before the season ends, though. The Fins did have a nice little 3-game winning streak leading up to Thanksgiving Day (Dallas is a really tough team to beat in November & they almost pulled it off). Miami is also one of the youngest teams in the NFL, so they might keep him around to see what he can do with them in terms of developing the young roster they have. But, you could be onto something there. Stranger things have definitely happened.

To me, it's gotta be Reid or Turner. Both have done terrible jobs with good rosters. Reid has run "The Dream Team" up there in Philly into the ground this season and didn't exactly set the Iggles up for success by putting his offensive line coach in the defensive coordinator position. I'm still trying to figure out what he was thinking (or smoking) when he made that decision.

And Turner? Lord! He's totally screwed the pooch this year. Terrible in-game decisions that have cost his team wins. Granted, he's got about the biggest choke-job in the league at QB, but some of the decisions he's made in games are beyond baffling.

Personally, I hope Turner gets it. I'd love to see him back in Dallas as Offensive Coordinator. It worked pretty well before!

Turner always was and will always be a better Offensive Coordinator than a Head Coach. I also don't know how he keeps getting Head Coaching jobs. He then usually loses them quickly, but this time he's retained the job way longer than he should have.

Rivers is clearly tanking the season to get rid of Turner.
