Regardless of what is or isn't in the game, yes, any fundamentalist Islamic state is likely to ban it on those grounds. Divination (any form of fortunetelling, etc.) is prohibited by scripture. I believe it's also common to Christian and Jewish scripture, but more likely to be overlooked.

It's not too hard to avoid a single person with stingers. Flares + stealth give you enough time to reload flares before a person can reload and hit you.

In the case of Christian scripture, that would pretty much require all of Revelation to be removed from the Bible. Yes, it was only a dream, but these are also just video games. They're not TRYING to tell the future, they're just trying to write a story that has some basis in reality that plays upon current world events. Divining the fact some people are shiatty human beings is pretty much the same as diving the fact the sun will rise in the morning. In the case of Call of Duty, it's Michael Bay set pieces meeting a rejected Tom Clancy novel. DICE isn't even making an attempt at predicting things - it's just making things go boom with modern context.

It sounds more like they're trying to ban these games for depicting the US in a heroic light which is, itself, funny since one of the MW games had an American primary antagonist and shows Americans as partially victims of their own hubris.

Shooting down aircraft as a single person is way too hard. Flares are way too effective.

But I did shoot two people that landed and got out of their helicopter to repair it. Then I stole it and went joy-riding.

It's not too hard to avoid a single person with stingers. Flares + stealth give you enough time to reload flares before a person can reload and hit you.

It helps if you're going after an idiot who lights off flares before you shoot. Typically you can scare someone with a lockon to let loose the flares and then relock and fire before they reload

Except none of that is true. DICE is a Swedish developer. Paris gets nuked, not Tehran. And no, I don't think anyone would complain if an Iranian game developer created a game where the U.S. was attacked. Most likely, the U.S. would never hear about it. Besides, there are no developers in Iran, just pirates.
