Make Mine Marvel, but I have been enjoying some of the New 52. Especially Frankenstein, Demon Knights, Animal Man, Swamp Thing and Captain Atom.

Just about anything from The Dark series has been great.

Not really, just going for the obvious stereotype. Oddly enough, one of my favorites from DC has been the Teen Titans. Definitely not grown-ups. I would also add some of the "other" DC stuff: Jonah Hex (not the Hollywood Abomination), the Flash, and early Justice League. On the Marvel side I really like Captain America and by extension the Avengers. Funny thing is I think the Marvel movies have been much better than the DC movies (and am so pumped to see what Joss Whedon does with the Avengers), but the DC Animated Universe kicks the ass of both.

And this is why you want control of the world's first look at a movie character. I'm sure he looks much better than that, but the fine people over at PEZ have only limited capabilities to work with. They should have released a promotional shot of him first.

I think the plan was to have the plot revolve around the villains a bit more: since iirc the Lizard was involved with Parker before the whole spider thing that would mean having the origin scene in there somewhere. I think (hope) that it'll be a much more minor part of a movie with a significantly longer span of time involved than the last few, though.

Conceivably they could dodge the origin stuff entirely and just flashback the past relationship, though, I'd be OK with that too.
