massive fixtures...Carling Cup

Does not compute.

Come on! Who wants that Europa League birth?

^

I'd imagine both sides rest starters and see how the 2nd line does. Arsenal may want to end the title drought, but I doubt RVP starts.

Yes, massive fixtures...

yeah, football and carling cup
but, I'm still wondering why Terry purposely took the yellow, to clear the slate?
he probably was not starting this match.

This. Though, City's "C team" is probably strong enough to win the league on their own.

And yet not a single one of these matches are on any of my channels here.

Individually talented and numerous does not quite equate to team.

Even with all the money in the world, I expect Merc city to fizzle in early 2012. Mancini is already complaining about too many fixtures...

Of course, as a gooner I'd be more than happy to help uncongest their schedule by one cup today.

Don't forget Cardiff v Blackburn! Although the real matches (Spurs vs PAOK and United vs Palace) are tomorrow.

Missing from the headline: "Will anyone actually watch the Carling Cup other than Gunners desperately craving a trophy ?"

Balotelli is suspended so Arsenal-City isn't worth watching (unless Hart plays shirtless). I'll just settle in with a choppy internet stream for some hawt AVB crouching action, and hoping Liverpool sleeper agents Torres and Meireles help out like they did a couple weeks ago.

if memory serves me, Mikel started and screwed up a questionable pass from Cech, that Adams gobbled up.
hopefully those 2 players start, now that Drogba rejected an extension (new window) with Chelsea, we don't need him on the pitch anymore.
/good luck on an internets feed!

Oh yeah, I just thought it was funny that Torres and Meireles come on late in the match and then Liverpool scored a late winner. And Meireles blasted one way over the goal which wasted some time as well. I like to think he did it on purpose... still wish he hadn't left.

I hope it was the Kent Brockman quote.

Here's a stream for Chelsea-Liverpool, but since it's firstrow it will probably crap out at some inopportune moment.

yah, i cannot say enough about them. one weekend, the replays were all wonky for one day. so they gave all subscribers a "we're sorry" e-mail along with one free month. nice service recovery for a fairly minor hassle.

also, if you sign up at the beginning of the season, you usually get a nice discount. i think i paid $160 for the entire year?

i agree, i usually catch a match on a site somehow, and could use the $20 for something else.

i guess i'm paying for the reliability of knowing i'll always have a quality stream to watch, and the knowledge that i can always watch afterwards (makes it easier than getting up at 4:30 west coast time for early matches).. the only downside is having to stay out of threads so i won't spoil the other matches i want to watch. right now i'm working on my 5th cl match from last week's fixtures.

Yes, in the locker room after a straight red card. Terrible tackle and the ref farked up in giving the wrong guy the card.

I have that problem with TV matches, which is why I stay out of weekend threads. Plus I hold off on watching ESPN matches til last (they report the scores of matches on other channels that won't be shown for some time after).
