Busniess?

2011-11-29 09:07:27 AM
No. No they won't.

2011-11-29 09:09:01 AM
Heh. That was the 1st name I thought of when I heard Lienert went down. Not because I want his washed up ass back, but because I just figured the collective sports media wouldn't pass up a chance to ride his sack one more time.

They also worked out Delhomme, according PFTalk.

The Jake could come home!

"I won't rule out or confirm anybody"

No, Kubiak didn't mention his name; dumbarse fans who only attach to familiar names and the Favre orgy that is the sports media have mentioned his name

2011-11-29 09:14:09 AM
No, he didn't.

No, they won't.

More Favreceptions?!? Can it be true!?!

Gary, just give TJ his shot. UNC has never had a QB start in the NFL, and if ever there was a guy to do it, it's TJ.

This.

But listening to Houston sports talk radio this week has been hilarious.

Can't imagine what it's like in Chicago.

I was sad when Leinart went down. He wasn't exactly burning it up, but he wasn't having a bad game. I was hoping Leinart would find some success as a back up QB.

Not going to happen.

That national nightmare is behind us.

Really?? Harvard has had more starting QBs in the league (one) than Carolina??

It's cool. I previously picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue.

It was more a comment on how the Modmins consistently leave spelling errors in headlines.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention you have to read the headline using movie guy's voice.

GimpyNip: Is Quincy Carter off crack?

I'm going to say NO on that one. He came here in 2007 to play for an AF2 team, got busted. Looks like he moved on to other cities getting arrested there as well.

What a waste. He could be making 1 to 1.5 million a year as a backup somewhere.

Did the cartilage in Daunte Culpepper's lower body ever grow back?

David Garrard, anyone?

No. Just...farkin'....no.

He had surgery which is why he didn't have a job this season.

Ah. Thought he had recovered. Carry on.

I'll take the five Favre Fark headlines a day on the sports tab if they replace the five Tebow Fark headlines a day that currently appear on the sports tab. just as a nice change of pace, throwback.

Delhomme would be perfect -- played in similar offenses in NOLA, Carolina, and Cleveland....lives somewhat nearby. Younger than Favre.

As a Jags fan, if you want a 4 TD game followed by two 4 INT games, knock yourself out.

I know. I was going to submit the Del Rio news with some type of "...oh, who cares it's the Jaguars" headline.

GimpyNip: The list of guys available is pretty weak:
Patrick Ramsey
Jake Delhomme
Troy Smith
JP Lostman
Chuck Frye
Trent Edwards

You failed to include JaMarcus Russell. I am confident that he is available and I am sure this was merely an oversight on your part.

And only Delhomme and Frye have much experience with an offense close to Kubiak's. Ramsey/Smith/Losman/Edwards/Bulger(who you forgot) are all Coryell/Zampese/Turner/Martz offense types.

But, this late in the season, does it really matter? The Texans probably make the playoffs, then lose the opening weekend at home. Whether there's a couple of rookies listed at QB isn't going to change that.

/And that assumes Hasselbeck doesn't manage a miracle in Nashville

Oh goddammitsomuch. And I was so amused during halftime of the Sunday night game, when Dan Patrick visibly facepalmed over Peter King trying to stir up a Favre rumor out of nowhere.

On the other hand, this article doesn't seem to have any more insight than King did -- basically "we, the reporters, are thinking about it, and the team didn't laugh in our faces."

Would be awesome to see Kubiak throw a helmet back on and be a player/coach. Just for the LOLZ.

If his time in toronto proved one thing, he is the master of the less than 5 yard pass in any situation!
