No one cares about Cain anymore. Black Walnut is no longer the flavor of the month.

paygun: Did he fark her 9-9-9 times?

No. For 13 years. But she's lying and his lawyer will prove it

2011-11-28 05:22:19 PM
Well, this will certainly pave the way to the presidency.

2011-11-28 05:22:23 PM
wtf did he run for office? didn't he know this stuff always comes out?

seriously bad move.

2011-11-28 05:22:31 PM
I'm going to try this with my employer.

"You're going to find out that I have been embezzling funds. When you do, I will respond".

2011-11-28 05:22:40 PM
I bet he'll have a bole plan to get out of this situation.

Don't hate the playa, hate the game ...

This would be the greatest comedy in history if not for the fact that these people actually help drive policy and the fact that one of them will ultimately spend several months with only one person standing between them and the Big Red Button.

2011-11-28 05:23:02 PM
If this guy wins he would be America's own Berlusconi

2011-11-28 05:23:15 PM
Respond when the "details are known?" You don't know if you were giving her the business?

2011-11-28 05:23:18 PM
Atlanta's Fox News 5, which is scheduled to run its report at 6 p.m., is teasing the interview with the latest Cain accuser by saying that she had a 13 year affair with the candidate.

13 years? You don't make that up. For 13 years there should be a good amount of proof that exists.

Cain is toast.

piertzak: Man, if only he were a Democrat, he would be their perfect candidate.

No, he's the perfect candidate for the Republican party, to prove to the world that there are actual heterosexuals in their party.

Yeaaahhhh... After the whole sexual harassment business that he handled so poorly there's not a chance anyone is going to believe these allegations aren't true.

Pack it in Herman, that's the end of your campaign.

The saddest part? Cheating on his wife is the LEAST of the reasons he should be out of the running. The real reason he shouldn't be a candidate: his brain.

Seriously, what the fark is Cain smoking? How can a single person in his campaign have thought this was a good idea?

2011-11-28 05:24:14 PM
Sounds like he's trying to win back the Gingrich voters

2011-11-28 05:24:14 PM
Sounds like Herman didn't give into the extortion attempt.

He was last month's "not Romney". This month we've got Gingrich. By the time it's over everyone will have had a turn. Well except for Santorum and Huntsman, they're like the red headed step children of the GOP.

"Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults - a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The public's right to know and the media's right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one's bedroom door. "

Oh yeah, baby! (new window)

Ew. Perhaps he should try Depends.

nicoffeine: Respond when the "details are known?" You don't know if you were giving her the business?

He means the details of what his handlers will tell him to say, which he'll just screw up anyway.

Will Herman Cain's campaign survive this scandal?
i.dailymail.co.uk
Nein. Nein. Nein.

2011-11-28 05:27:04 PM
Cain is a terrible candidate. I don't care so much about his adulterous harassment as I do his terrible lying skills. He was just awful when the first round of allegations surfaces. And this time he thinks breaking it himself is helpful but is waiting to respond until they figure out how to spin what she discloses.

Just plain stupid.

2011-11-28 05:27:06 PM
I'm still a little confused on how racial justice is supposed to work from a Republican's point of view. Cain's ideas are so terrible that they border on satirical (even for a Republican); he seems to lack a certain moral fiber, personal character, and integrity -- but that comes standard with every Republican, much less every politician; and he's black. Do I give him more scumbag points or less?

Up next, Cain throws a press conference to declare that any potential future allegations of farm animal molestation are almost entirely made up.

Gingrich is on his second turn now. The GOP looked at him already, saw him crash and burn like all the others, went through the rest of the field, and are now all '...seriously, this is all we've got? ...holy shiat, our field sucks... is Gingrich still around? Could I get another look at him?'

2011-11-28 05:28:41 PM
The Cain campaign responded, "Be sure to buy our book while you wait for us to respond to this future allegation."

Corvus: Because Republican leaders NEVER cheat on their wives...

They aren't perfect, they are just forgiven.

... as opposed to that Muslim currently in the White House ... and about his one wife that there's never been even a hint of cheating around on, well, that's not family values because he's a Muslim.

2011-11-28 05:29:17 PM
Dear God. Herman Cain is like Christmas every day for Democrats. Thanks, Hermy!

2011-11-28 05:29:23 PM
I'm still with Maddow that this is an art project. Cain is in it for the lulz. Or book sales. Whatever.

2011-11-28 05:29:35 PM
Who-man What?

He's still in the race?

If infidelity bothered the GOP, Newt wouldn't be the new flavor-of-the-week in the Anybody-But-Mitt Primary Race.
