Actually, you woke up in the 90s. Schwing is from Wayne's World, and Myers/Carvey didn't trot that out until 1990/91, I think.

First incident of Wayne's character was in the late 80s. When he first said "Schwing" I can't say for certain (can anyone?). The point, I think, stands.
