RAW is always live. Smackdown is taped on Tuesday for air on Friday.

However, a few months back they experimented with a live Tuesday Smackdown, and it pulled in good ratings, which is why there is another live special tomorrow night.

Kinda sad to see Morrison go. He seemed to be a pretty talented guy in the ring...still wondering why WWE never really gave him a shot. (or did they and I missed it?)

Also, I watched a replay of the Rock/Cena tag match from SS, and I have one big burning question:

What's with all the Cena hate? At first, I thought the whole GoCena/CenaSucks stuff was a way for the smarks to have some fun, but now I'm seeing it blossom into a full out "we hate this guy", and I'm really not sure why.

If it's because they feel that "he's a one dimensional character", then there's people in the lockerroom that have way flimsier characters (see: Del Rio, Alberto).

If it's because they feel that "he's not that good in the ring", then why do they continue to tolerate Barret, Swagger, Truth, etc.

If it's because they're "tired of him always winning/being the good guy", then blame WWE Creative, not Cena. Cena's playing the role that Creative gave him, and running the matches the way they've been written. If you want him as a heel, convince WWE Creative to make him a heel.

Even if you hate the guy's gimmick, you can't argue that he goes out and puts on the best show he can each night, just like many others in the lockerroom.

I don't think anyone hates the guy. Cena seems pretty decent, and seems to have remained much more level-headed and accommodating than some of the guys who have been in his spot.

But his gimmick is complete shiat. And yes, that is Vince and WWE Creative's fault.

Also, he has been shoved down the audience's throat as a superface for nearly a decade. Everyone but the kids are seriously burnt out on Cenamania. IMO, a Nice rest for Cena after Wrestlemania, followed by a semi-heel turn would probably get people to enjoy him again.

On Skip Sheffield's Facebook page, he was tagged in a photo by a fan who ran into him earlier this month at an auto shop in Florida. The fan says Sheffield told him he will be returning to WWE television under the name Ryback.

Sheffield was removed from the Raw Superstars page on WWE.com earlier this week, thus indicating that the character is through. WWE recently applied to trademark Ryback, which suggests that he will be repackaged with a new character upon his return from injury. Prior to assuming the cowboy persona in WWE's developmental system, he appeared as Ryback, an indestructible "Terminator" style character billed from "The Future."

Regarding Maryse Ouellet's departure from WWE last month, the Wrestling Observer reports that company officials had been looking to cut ties with the French-Canadian glamour model for over a year since she did not fit their commitment to wholesome, family-friendly, PG content. Her "history of non-PG activity" was of concern to WWE executives, The Observer notes.

In the case of Skip Sheffield/Ryback, obviously Vince's senility has convinced him it's 1988 again, and outlandish characters like this won't be shiat on by everyone.

And cutting a diva because she's not wholesome and family friendly enough? Goddamn, get over it, WWE. You're never going to get the 1980s kiddie audience back. Pro Wrestling was too stigmatized by the Attitude era. Get over it, try to grow the teenaged and young adult audience, like the Summer of Punk 2 could have, before you hotshotted it to shiat.

Oh, and Vince: tell your wife to quit running for political audience. She stands as much chance of winning as DDP had of going over the Undertaker. She's just blowing your money, and ruining your cash cow because you feel you have to keep things "family friendly" while she blows your money on a fruitless campaign.
