Keep it up, Timmay--every game you win equates to another bodyguard that Elway will need when you finally get traded.

This guy has a staggering knack for falling ass backwards into luck. And I thought last year's Bears team lived a charmed life. I'd take him to the casino with me but he probably has some rules about that...

Not only does The Tebow render football fans stupid but also opposing coaching staffs. A 53-yard field goal attempt in overtime?! Because pinning an option offense deep in their own territory is the last thing you want to do, right? One can only wonder what form of brain slug is going to invade Belichick and crew in a couple of weeks.

I support Tim because he's got heart. He's fighting against the odds. He's in a barn using pulleys to lift a net filled with rocks and oxcarts, while Tom Brady is in a high tech laboratory gym with his severe foreign wife and the evil Bill Belichick looking on sternly and then Tebow climbs up a mountain and triumphantly screams "Brady!"

3rd and 6 at DEN 31: M.Tolbert left tackle to DEN 35 for -4 yards (V.Miller).

This play hurt the Chargers. It is psychologically harder to make a 50+ yard field goal, than a field goal under 50 yards.

2nd and 10 at DEN 43: (Shotgun) T.Tebow right end pushed ob at SD 45 for 12 yards (S.Gregory).

Another big play, then of course, McGhee's big run 2 plays later.

There's plenty of hate to go around. Nobody is giving the media a pass for this. Half the anti-Tebow comments are really just parodies of the media's lust for the man.

Meanwhile, Tebow has earned his fair share of criticism for the obstinate insistence on being a quarterback in a college offense instead of an H-back or TE in a pro offense. And it's pretty clear why: The Tebow (and his fans) need him to be where he is so he can receive all the credit when the Broncos win. Fewer people want to interview "Tim Tebow, the top-five tight end" compared to "Tim Tebow, God's Quarterback." He knows it, his people know it, he's not giving the ball up.

Miller and that D are for real. I am so hoping the Donks don't get a real QB to go with that or Oakland's revival at the top of the division may be short lived. Kind of rooting for Timmy now so maybe that dosen't happen. It is also nice that he is taking attention away from Palmer and the Raiders continuing to stack up wins and making a run at the playoffs. I MUCH prefer flying under the radar.

Have the Broncos said anything about moving Tebow to a different position? Maybe they don't want to move him. He's supposed to volunteer to change positions because people say he should?

Here's the thing...I agree with you. But he's converted me.

When the Chargers went into halftime leading 10-7, I knew. When it was 13-10 after 3, I knew. When the Chargers lined up for the game-winning field goal (again) in OT, I knew. And I don't mean like, "Oh wouldn't it be funny?" kind of knew, I mean that I knew.

Besides which, now that I look at it a bit more objectively, I cannot believe that more Farkers don't love the guy. Look at it--he's trolling the NFL! Not just the league, either--ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS...basically, every single so-called football "expert" in the nation. He does nothing that a good quarterback should do, except look good during the post-game interview. He can't throw with anything approaching consistent accuracy, he locks on to a single receiver when he does throw, he tries to force it into double- and triple-coverage, he cuts back inside when he runs, he doesn't slide or avoid contact, but yet he's winning the farking games.

Look at the rest of Denver's schedule: they only have one game against a team with an above-average defense, and that team is having quarterback issues of their own (Chicago). It is very possible that the Broncos finish 10-6 or even 11-5, also making a playoff berth a real possibility.

So, yeah...I drank the kool aid and now Tebow the Tebow's Tebowing ways.

He's 5-1 as a started this year so explain to me how Denver would be better with Orton as a QB and Tebow at TE. If Denver was set at QB position - that is if Elway was in his prime - your comment would make sense. Right now it doesn't.

I seriously think that a lot of the haters are just mad cuz he's not a good fantasy football QB but the dude gets the Ws. Once that ends I don't think Denver (or any team) will keep him as a starter.

You know, this would be great for an Oakland Raiders fan sign. I gotta say that division has by far the best storylines heading into the playoffs. That division will either have:
A) Tebow TEBOW TEBOW winning the division and saving Christmas
B) The Oakland Raiders pulling off some wild "We won this for Al Davis" with Carson fricking Palmer at the helm
C) San Diego pulling off another miracle run and bouncing back from 4-7
D) or Kyle Orton pulling off the greatest trollface in the history of the NFL

No matter who wins that division things will be great.

There's actually something to that, believe it or not. Tebow doesn't turn the ball over much. He's thrown one interception. I think he's lost three fumbles so far, so that's not good, but four turnovers in 6 starts and one game he entered late isn't bad.

A rushing offense moves the ball more slowly than a passing offense. This rests the defense more. There's a reason the defense is suddenly great now that Tebow's in there.

Plus, for all we know, his motivational magic is a real thing and the team's playing harder.

Slight fix. This is why it's going to suck to be the Broncos organization and their sane fans this time next year. Tebow starts to lose a few more games (if you credit him for the wins now, you have to blame him for the losses in the future, right?), gets a little more banged up, but you can't switch QB's because A: Tebow wouldn't go for it, 2: his cult would burn the stadium down, and III: They waived their competent quarterback. Unless Elway has the balls to draft a QB in an early round next year in the face of rabid opposition their offense is screwed in the short term.

Do you play fantasy football? Because Tebow's pretty good. Rushing TDs count more than passing TDs in most leagues.

If by fantasy you mean "something I think is fantasy but is actually the opposite, with lots of computers and equations," okay. This happens all the time in baseball. "I don't like them new-fangled fantasy stats like VORP!" when in actuality, most fantasy leagues measure basic stats only.

Not a good ff qb? The lowest point total was 12. The rest of the games on espn scoring was 16,21,16,16,15. Not as good as newton or rodgers but a solid play every game.

I haven't been following pro football that much this year, and as a Chiefs fan, I hate the Broncos... but I do hope that Tebow lives up to his personality hype. I mean, good "religious" athletes come and go, and quite a few falter... but... at the same time... I don't think I'll be hearing any stories a few years from now about how he was beating his girlfriends/wife or how he was drowning dogs that lost fights he bet on.

There really is something to that. I'm not saying that Tebow's religion is helping them win but the situation makes it very easy for the team to rally behind the dude. Everyone keeps writing them off and they keep winning. It's much easier to play with no pressure (or very little pressure) than it is to play when you're the heavy favorite and every little mistake is under the microscope.

However, if Denver does stick with this style of offense I don't think any veteran receiver will sign with them. They might attract some running backs though.

I saw the overtime after the Pats game. That tackle for a loss that made the Chargers' FG attempt 53 yards instead of 49 was more clutch than anything Tebow did. I agree with Harv though. I knew the Broncos would win in OT and laughed my ass off when it happened. He's seriously trolling the NFL. Everytime he wins, the sports journalists need to come up with a reason why.

It's hilarious.

I don't play FF and that's probably why I didn't think he was that good for that but I guess I was wrong.

So then... why do people hate Tebow? He gets the Ws, he gets decent points in FF, Denver isn't a hated team like Dallas or Patriots... If you hate Tebow because he takes a knee and looks up when he scores then you're just a hater.

At first I didn't think he'd even be a decent QB in NFL but this year he has convinced me that he has a skillset that, although very different from the typical NFL QB, is enough to get Ws. It's not pretty football but I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day.

I think the broncos should draft another qb that can throw and run well and keep tebow as an option rb/qb. It would be fun to watch defense lose their minds with a running passing threat like that.
