Part of the problem in the current economy is that we have too many people for too few jobs. This is one way of increasing the job to applicant ratio while also successfully reducing strain on the social safety net and public services.

I'm not going to call these guys heroes, but in a small way they have done their part to alleviate the current economic malaise.

The unfortunate fact is that one of the bodies was found behind the pretty-much-empty mall our car club used for summer car meets, impromptu AutoXs, and snow-drift sessions ...

just a wild hunch, but I'm going to bystep the usual 'innocent until proven guilty' thing entirely here. If he is in fact the person responsible for the luring of people to a desolate location for the specific purpose of murdering them, he has probably lived a life where that facial expression got burnt into the muscle memory of his tissue at a very early age and has continued unabated to the present day.

Then there's the old "Oh, shiat, they've finally caught me and I'm getting photographed by the po-lice fer reals", they did it, they knows it, they are not mentally agile and skilled enough to feign innocence or at least indifference. I am seeing neither relief nor remorse in that picture.

I understand it's often caused by having male offspring who fail to meet your expectations.

Looking for a job online myself through craigslist right now. Better wear my kevlar to the job interview. No real logical reason for the killings from the details listed. These guys got picked up and driven so no car to sell. They are unemployed, so nothing to rob. The cops are finding body's, soo...its not like they are eating the unemployed. Maybe shooting them in the head and then raping the bodies?

So yea I need a job. Getting shot in the head and death-raped by hillbillies better come with a decent health plan.

Love the obligatory "he was such a good boy" quote: ..his son had been "manipulated" and "corrupted," insisting that his son is a "mild-mannered gentleman."

Hate to break it to you, Dad, but if at 16 your kid doesn't have the basic humanity needed to avoid participating in serial murder, he's not a victim. Personally, I wouldn't even consider him human anymore. Just have another kid, this one is broken at a pretty basic level.

I've had my life threatened due to a meeting off Craigslist. But then I had farked the guy's wife the night before. Somehow I convinced him that I hadn't really, and that his wife was all loyal.

I got a clown dunk tank on Craigslist, so I'm getting a kick out of your replies...

Seriously, since it rolls to a contact email,. tis traceable unless said murder type is using an anonymizer on their email....or phone, etc....

Ya, my wife used to work across the street from there. From what she has said, it's not surprising there are bodies behind the mall.

Is it any wonder I will only work from home?

/ well, that and after 15 years of working behind my computer screen w/ no real people
contact, I've developed an awful stutter that crops up when dealing with new people.

i applied for my current job on craigslist. i was suspicious at first because i applied late at night and got a call back the next morning for an interview. but then i looked on the internet and they had a website so they HAD to be legit.
not dead...yet.

Wanted for Hire: Victim, age 18+, unobservant, desperate, willing to travel (alone), low physical strength a plus, no close friends or relatives. Persons w/martial arts/military experience need not apply. No pets.

Protip: Do not respond to this listing

Actually, come to think of it, the work I am doing today is a client that advertised on Craigslist. It's the coolest IT job I have ever had. Mind you, the interview was in a funky urban office which was filled to overflowing with staff, so i guess it was reasonably safe, right?

One of the bodies identified is the dad of my friend's friend.
A bit removed from me, but a close-enough connection nonetheless.
